RUNAWAY JUVENILE
FOR THE CITY OF LINDEN

DATE OF RELEASE: January 29, 2024

On January 29, 2024, at 6:21pm, the Linden Police Department received a call to Murphy Court in reference to a runaway 12-year-old. A search of the home and surrounding area was conducted with negative results.

With the assistance of Michigan State Police, Michigan State Police canine unit, Michigan State Helicopter, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department, Argentine Township Police Department, the Fenton City Police Department, and the Linden Fire Department, a search was conducted within the City of Linden, Argentine Township, Fenton Township and the City of Fenton with negative results. The juvenile, James Vrandenburg, has run away several times in the recent past. He is described as male, biracial, 12-year-old, 5’4”, 180 pounds, wearing a black hoodie and tan pants.

Anyone with information on James's whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Linden Police Department at 810-735-5454 or call 911.
