Just 3 days away from getting the season started with our Kickoff Tailgate presented by The Gerken Companies on Sunday at American Freedom Energy! ROAD CLOSED 😡...STORE OPEN 😎

As most of you have probably experienced by now, State Route 109 is closed just north of the Interstate 24 Exit...& from the sounds of it, the road will be closed for a few weeks longer. HOWEVER, our gas station/convenience store is still open & accessible from 24 or County Road S.

Unfortunately, having the road closed during our busiest months has had a SIGNIFCANT financial impact on us & will continue to have a negative impact until the road is opened back up.

So as you make your plans for the 4th of July, keep us in mind! We'll be stocked & ready for all your grilling & beverage needs. We appreciate all of our loyal customers who go out of their way to keep us busy!

How about a double-weekend to finish up our tailgate season here at AFE?! We'll be hosting not one but TWO football tailgates this upcoming weekend.

Friday Night will be the traditional LC home game tailgate as they take on the Huron Tigers in Week 2 of the High School Football Playoffs. Starts at 4 pm w/ Slice & Batter LLC providing the food before & after the game. Then Saturday we'll be hosting a pre-game tailgate for the inaugural 8-Man Championship game between Holgate & Toledo Christian. Doors with open at NOON for some college football viewing & will run right up until kickoff w/ Outlaw Attitude BBQ providing the food.

Good Football. Great Food. Cold Drinks. Going to be a fantastic weekend at AFE! See you there!

Outlaw Attitude BBQ will be serving from Noon until kickoff…drinks will be served w/ a little college football on the TV pre-game. Excited to welcome Holgate & TC fans to our tailgate!

The 8-man state championship supported by the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association is all set! Holgate and Toledo Christian will meet on Saturday night for the crown! The Eagles and Tigers romped in last night's semifinals! Black Swamp Football will have extended coverage of this Saturday's title game. Stay tuned for more details. PLAYOFF FOOTBALL IS HERE! Second Season has arrived in high school football & the LC Tigers have earned the right to host their first round playoff game against the Elmwood Royals. That means another AFE tailgate!

Making their tailgate debut this week will be our very own Slice & Batter LLC! They have been cooking at AFE for about 3 months now providing breakfast & lunch for our customers. And the reviews are OFF THE CHARTS! Their menu for Friday will be as follows:

Pizza (Tiger Pep, Cheese, All Meat, Deluxe)
Cheesy Bread
Bacon Cheeseburgers
Grilled & Spicy Chicken Sandwiches

Can't wait for you guys to give them a try if you haven't done so already!

RIVALRY WEEK IS HERE! The state-ranked Liberty Center Tigers will welcome our state-ranked rivals from Patrick Henry to town for an epic NWOAL/Intra-county showdown! So of course we're back at AFE for another tailgate!

Guess who else is back?! Toledo Chuck Wagon is making a return appearance!! If you didn't give them a try the first time they were here, you HAVE to stop out to try this food! It's AMAZING!

We're bringing back our Tailgate this Friday & we've got some renovations to show off! While not all of the projects have been completed (construction delays), we think you'll enjoy the changes we've made so far!

NEW FOOD TRUCK making its debut at AFE. We've heard nothing but rave reviews about the Toledo Chuck Wagon & can't wait for all of you to try them out! As always, they'll be serving before & after the game.

Can't forget our friends @ Black Swamp Football who will be doing a live pre-game broadcast from AFE for the LC vs Otsego game.

We'll also be hosting the 2023 LC Hall of Fame Reception after the game & everyone is welcome to come celebrate the newest inductees.

We've got some exciting news! We will now be serving MADE FRESH DAILY "grab & go" type of items for breakfast & lunch Monday through Friday. We'll be serving everything from breakfast biscuits & burritos in the morning to panini's & pizza by the slice for lunch.

This Friday (8/4) we will be serving a "Lunch Special" that goes off-script from the regular menu items. You'll get a Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich, Mac & Cheese, Choice of Cornbread or Dinner Roll for $8.50 (while supplies last).

The menu will continue to change/adapt & we'll keep everything updated on here. So be sure to check back for updates!
