We were a victim of "alcohol abuse" today. Never let it be said that Sheila or I don't make mistakes from time to time....
...while we were putting the liquor order away, Sheila stepped over a box while carrying three fifths of Jagermeister in her hands - and tripped. Two of the bottles fell underneath her....and shattered....covering her in glass and licorice-scented liquor from head to toe. Literally. (*Shockingly, one bottle survived the fall!)

I helped her to her feet - so she wouldn't cut herself further. (Luckily she had only the tiniest little cut on her hand)...and we got her a new shirt to change into. Then me, in my infinite wisdom - grabbed a broom and mop to start cleaning up the carnage.

After attacking it the first time ....I was taking the mop bucket back to get fresh water...to hit it all again. I pushed it behind the counter and proceeded to dump it all over the floor in front of the pints and half-pints....further spreading the disaster to the other end of the store.

It's funny now that it's contained and cleaned up....but what a morning! So...if you come in today and notice it smells like a combination of black licorice and PineSol - you'll know why. 🤣

This is exactly the type of clientele that nobody wants - don’t be like this woman! She swings in at 1:30am while we’re closed - not to do anything but vandalize our pumps with her propaganda decals. If you want to slap stickers on your *own car (which clearly she had on her nice, White Chrysler Sebring…with a license plate that I could easily post here)….thats your choice. But imagine how angry you’d be if you walked out and someone had put a bumper sticker for *their favorite candidate, event or cause on YOUR vehicle. Congrats! This middle of the night hit and run puts you right in our spotlight! And… quite honestly - you ought to be ashamed of yourself. Hopefully someone here recognizes her… Stay classy, folks. 👍 (*this is not a political post. Comments of a political nature - for either side - will be deleted). This is a post about ignorant people doing ignorant things.
