We're getting really close to being finished now! Our favorite electrician started putting conduit back up tonight, which means lighting will be up in a few more days, we hope! Once light returns, we need to do a deep clean and some limited prep. On "TENTATIVE" track to open back up Feb 12! 🤞❤️🤞🥂🎉 Thank you with your patience on this project - it's the first step in adding another apartment to downtown!

Time for more update photos! We have crews working this week hanging fire rated sheetrock. Unfortunately, we were unable to remove the tin ceiling tiles (trust me when I say the effort it would have taken meant NOT reopening until late April!), so we have opted to cover them over and add another layer to the onion that is this old beautiful building. We will end up with a plain white ceiling as a placeholder for a year or two, then we plan on hanging a replica tin ceiling or something less boring. During the preparation process, we found the original green bead board ceiling from 1899, and yet another layer of tin tiles under some spots that pre-dates the current tin!! 😳 We miss y'all and we're on track to be back open in early February. Stay tuned for a more exact date! ❤️🍻🥂🛠️

We miss y'all, do you miss us yet? Thought it was time for some update photos! We've been moving along getting furniture moved (the front windows look like storage units 🤣😬), draping the shelves to help make clean up easier, and testing some removal of the ceiling. Hoping to have fire board up soon! No news on a reopening date yet, but we're moving as fast as we can on that. ❤️🍻🥂

Looking for a new hobby for a new year's resolution? Or do you just love adding new knowledge to your brain? Check this out!
"The class is great for educational purposes even if someone is not interested in or ready to have bees at home. Not enough locals realize or know that Caldwell has one of the most robust bee clubs in the state. The current VP ran the state wide bee keeper certification program for years and we have multiple master bee keepers in the club which is a tough and rare level to attain. Topics that involve beeswax products and mead making will be discussed. The club also does a lot of free educational events for kids and the community so membership growth helps increase the quality and number of events."

And just like that, it's our last full day of the year!! Today is going to be a busy one, so here's how this is gonna work:
*We are FULL on reservations for our regular seating areas. However, since the weather is yucky today, we've pulled our outside table to the inside to accommodate lucky walk-in's who still want to grab a Champagne flight. This table can seat ONLY 2 people, and additional chairs cannot be pulled up to it (sorry, our building is only 19 feet wide, and we can't make it any bigger). Champagne flights are $30 for 2oz pours of four different French Champagnes (including two rosé bottles this year, for the first time!).
*We are still open for our End-of-the-Year sales on To-Go purchases (20% off beer/wine/cider/mead, 25% off growler fills, 20% off retail cheese/meats/accoutrements), no reservation needed to grab stuff. Just please be patient with the crowd, since we're full and the seating areas are in front of most of our shelf space. (Or come 11am-2pm for To-Go Only)
*Still offering 25% off Dealer's Choice cheeseboard orders. Keep in mind, we're going to be slammed, and it's just Jen working by herself in the back making them as fast as she can. If you call one in, give us plenty of time before you get Hangry!
*Some folks have asked about our Champagne bottles being on sale. Once we've guaranteed we have enough for everyone who wanted a flight, we will release the bottles that don't get popped to sell for 20% off, if you take it To-Go, and should be available around 7pm. If you still want to grab bubbly for your New Year's Eve, we still have plenty of bottles of Brut, Cava, Prosecco, Moscato, and even a few bottles of non-flight champagnes featured on previous years' tastings. Chris can help you find what you're looking for.

#mimosamoods Greetings from SNOWpocalypse 2022, hope y'all are having fun and staying safe today (and maybe tomorrow).

We've been keeping busy on our Stay-cation while the shop's been closed this week. Chris wanted to show off his snow day project. As regulars know, Chris loves to garden, and Jen loves to cook with things from the garden (ours, friends' and local farms). Looking forward to some fresh lettuce & spinach in February on the Small Plates & cheeseboards!
