It’s a beautiful Sunday in Langley and I’ve got a delicious Zweigelt by in the tasting lineup today. We’ll have live music today at 2pm-ish so come on in for some wine and a jam session!

📣 It’s a new chapter for Village Wine Shop! 📣

Some of our regulars have already heard, but it feels like it’s time to announce that Village Wine Shop & Tasting Room has officially changed hands and I’m honored to have taken over as the new owner! I’ve been a happy customer of Ric’s for a few years now, and want to extend a giant thank you to Ric and Nina (and especially Gus!) for their incredible work building this beloved shop into what it is today. I’m thrilled to continue their work in bringing exceptional PNW wines to our community, and I’m excited to meet everyone, share some delicious wine with you and help you discover your next favorite bottle! Will there be any changes to the shop? Maybe, sort of, eventually. But for now, I’ll be building the bottle selection back up, pouring tastings, and getting my sea legs under me before the busy season starts. Stop by soon to say hello—I’d love to meet you and hear what you love and would like to see at Village Wine Shop! Cheers to new beginnings! 🍷

This weekend is the 40th Annual Murder Mystery Weekend and we’ll be here Saturday and Sunday handing out clues and pouring wine for our (also now annual) Mystery Wine Tasting event! The blind tasting challenge is $15/person, but guess all 5 varietals correctly and your tasting is free! Stop by when you need a break from sleuthing (or want to get out of the rain)! 🔎

Also, will be here pouring with us on Saturday, you won’t want to miss it!
