Dark Arts Ripple Rye Maple Amburana Rye
This 7-year-old Indiana rye (95% Rye. 5% Malted Barley) was finished in toasted Amburana casks, then re-barreled in maple syrup casks, and bottled at cask strength. This is a limited-edition release with an approximate yield of 3,000 bottles.

TASTING NOTES:
NOSE Fresh baked gingerbread, spiced cherry, with hints of sweet buttercream icing.
PALATE Maple syrup intertwines with the complexity of rye, creating a rift of bold flavors, think red gumdrops, caramelized sugar, a wave of holiday spice and warmth.

Staff Favorite Spotlight, ANXO! Sugar free, low carb, and gluten free dry ciders.

ANXO Cider (pronounced Ahn-Cho) is a Washington, DC based craft cidery inspired by centuries of American and European cider making culture. The idea of ANXO was first planted in the mind of Founders and Co-Owners Sam Fitz and Cooper Sheehan during a life-changing trip to the Basque country of Spain and the West Country of the United Kingdom where they were introduced to the rich history of farming and fermenting apples.

ANXO’s mission is to bring cider culture to the US by creating and importing the finest ciders that are the purest expressions of the apples they are made from. ANXO makes cider much like vintners make wine, embracing an approach, using only apples and yeast. Fermented in stainless steel or wood vessels the resulting product is sugar free, gluten free, low-carb, and is as complex as wine and refreshing and sessionable as beer.

🍏Cidre Blanc gets its name from the Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc wine yeast employed in fermentation. High-acid and effervescent, expect notes of tropical citrus and stone fruit. It is extremely versatile with food pairings, and pairs best with seafood, poultry, and even pork!

🍏District Dry is a blend of heirloom and dessert apples purchased direct from farmers within 100 miles of ANXO. This cider is the lighter, easy-drinking cousin of Cidre Blanc.
