Fall is in full swing! The coveted witches from Nancy have arrived, along with "team" button dolls for all you sports fans!

Exciting events are happening at the Maple Rose this month!

On September 14, from noon until 3pm, local author and historian Jan Plemmons will be visiting to discuss and sign her books "Treasures of Toxaway," "Ticket to Toxaway," "Upper Transylvania County, NC, Remembered," and "I'm in the Army Now." There will also be a performance by singer-songwriters Micky Davis and his son Barrett.! Signed CDs will be available.

Hiking guide and photographer Neil Regan will be at the Maple Rose September 21 from 1 to 4pm. He will be signing his book, "Great Waterfalls of North Carolina." Signed hiking sticks will also be available!
Mickey Davis and Barrett will have live music as well!

On September 28, from 1 to 3pm, artist Margie Bauer will be at the shop to teach visitors about "zentangling." Everyone is welcome to come try this fun and relaxing art form and to see her beautiful original pieces. The Maple Rose carries her cards so you can share these zentangle patterns with others! Micky Davis and Barrett will be performing for the perfect mixture of art and music!

Spring has sprung in the mountains, and the Maple Rose is coming back to life for the season! Our opening day is Friday, May 17th from 10 am to 5:30 pm. We are looking forward to your visit!
