What is Sauvignonasse? Is it related to Sauvignon Blanc?!

It’s not a long lost sibling of Sauvvy B.

Sauvignonasse is a variety of white wine that tastes like citrus, light minerality and a little floral (sometimes even has a light almond note).

This grape is also known as Friulano and is most famous for being planted in northeast Italy in Friuli.

📍 Vouvray, France (Loire Valley)
🍇 Chenin Blanc

This wine is crazy delicious and bright! This is a great alternative to Champagne! Domaine Chidaine produces some of the prettiest and expressive Chenin Blancs in the Loire. Early to adopt natural wine making practices, the domaine is organic and biodynamic.

Additionally, Francois Chidaine really embraces regenerative agriculture.

This wine comes in limited quantities so, come down this weekend and secure your bottle.

Now hiring a sales associate for our bottle shop in the Old City!

This position will start as part time (20-25 hours) but, has the possibility for full time.

A day in the life of a Corks Sales Associate could include the following activities:

- Welcoming and engaging with customers as they enter the store
- Working with cash registers and processing payments
- Assisting in giving an positive and inviting atmosphere in the shop
- Giving personalized advice and recommendations
- Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing

Job Requirements:
- Base knowledge of wine, spirits or beer preferred but, not required
- Weekend Availability is mandatory
- Be at least 21 years of age or older
- Ability to multitask
- Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 6-8 hours a day

60% Pinot Meunier
30% Chardonnay

Lots of stone fruit, camomile, mint and lots of minerals. If you want something both expressive and nuanced you should drink this.
