Two more. Only TWO more nights of service at our bar. It’s all happening so fast!!!
I can’t begin to thank everyone enough for coming out up to this point. The amount of people who have come in from all over the country for one last hurrah is pretty incredible. Y’all know who you are. ❤️🫂
On with the show.

Tonight is .mckee.kc and .
Show is at 7pm and we have a few seats available but I guarantee without a reservation they will be taken well before nights end.

And then tomorrow is it. The big grand finale.
We will open at 3pm with and as our featured bartenders. Then from 5p-7p and take the wheel for their last lap around the bar. Lastly and close it out from 7-9pm.
We have playing from 4-6pm and spinning records 7-9pm to close us out.

We’re down to our final 3 nights of bar service.
What an insane ride up to this point.
The last few weeks y’all have come out in droves to celebrate this little slice of entertainment in the East Crossroads and by doing so have made this tough situation so much better.
It’s just been nonstop good times which I suppose is what we set out to do and so far have been completely winning in that regard.
The fun continues tonight with . These guys have been a local favorite of mine for many years now.
It sounds like they may have put together something a little special for us tonight too. We can’t wait to see them and everybody else tonight.

Tonight is Name That Tune music trivia with our host . Obviously this will be our final night of music trivia and we have a jampacked full house to close it out proper. That said we do have room for exactly ONE Moore team for a standing room only spot. If all the reservations show up, this will be hands-down our busiest night of Trivia ever!!!

but wait, there’s more.
Because it is the last night and we have so many people we are going to give away prizes to the top three teams, and the first place prize is a gift certificate good for merchandise in their online shop.
They’ve also chipped in to get a round of Malort shots for everyone in attendance on them!
Malort schwag and free shots!
Sounds like a makings for a proper sendoff.

This is it y’all! The final week of our little wine bar.
Before I get into that Iwanna mention a couple other things real fast.
While Sunday will be our last hurrah at the bar we will very much be open for a few more weeks. We need to liquidate everything on the retail side and you can still come down and shop to find the best deals around. EVERYTHING will be on sale.
This process could be as quick as 2 weeks or could take upwards of a month and a half. We don’t know yet so stay tuned for more details.
now onto the week ahead.
Tonight will be our final night with no live entertainment at the bar. will be at the bar if you wanna come see her and enjoy a little more conversation and less noise then tonight is your night to do so.
I will also use this as an opportunity to mention just how hard Kate has been busting her ass keeping the bar chugging along in these last few chaotic weeks. She deserves all the praise (AND TIPS!)you can send her way this week.
tomorrow night is our final night with Nathan Corsi and for the occasion he is bringing his band Not a Planet with him.
Nathan took to our Pairing stage more than any other single musician and it’s been a delight having him around. let’s send him off proper Wednesday night.
Thursday is our final name that tune music, Trivia with .
When I decided I no longer had time to host Trivia myself I asked Travis and he stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park.
One last night of music, trivia, and again, let’s end things proper.
Friday we have one of my favorite local bands ever, and they are bringing their Horn section.
this night will certainly be loud, rowdy and one hell of a good time!
Saturday we have the pleasure of hosting our very own .mckee.kc & !
Mitzi has been with us for about three years now.
she had also had quite the year celebrating a new wife and more recently the birth of a new baby. We are looking forward to one last precious cargo show at The Pairing.

Well it’s was an incredible week of music and SO many people stopping by to offer up hugs, words of encouragement, or simply to take advantage of the current sales.
we have moved through a lot of inventory in the store is starting to look significantly different, but there is still a lot more to unload. Come in and talk to one of us and we will help you stock up your bar and or wine cellar at a really great price.

Now on to this weekend.
This afternoon is our last round of The Masked Grape with . For our final week we decided to do two different blind flights. One red flight where you will try to guess the grape and a second flight consisting of four different types of of sparkling wine, where you will try to guess the style and region.
Lindsay will be behind the bar from 2 PM to 4 PM but the flight will be available all day as well.

Tonight we have our Pairing Friends, Maggie Thomas & Troy Wulfemeyer bringing their musical duo to the Pairing stage.
7-9pm and we can’t wait!

lastly, tomorrow afternoon we have another incredible show that is already maxed out on reservations and will be a standing room only show.
and Will perform from 4-6pm.
FYI, this will be a limited menu show.
NO FOOD. NO FLIGHTS.
Wine by the glass, beer, and spirits all available.
all whiskey and agave bottles are on sale as well.

on top of all that we finally get to open our extra special Nebbiolo Wine flight tonight!

We are in complete liquidation mode.
In case you haven’t heard March 30th is our official last day for bar service. That leaves less than two weeks to catch a show, get some charcuterie, and enjoy a whiskey, wine, or spirits flight.
We will still be open through the month of April, but that will strictly be retail only as we continue the liquidation process.
currently on the retail side, lots of sales happening there with even more coming next month. Stay tuned!

A couple of corrections concerning this week‘s shows.
We realized we had the wrong time listed on a couple of events and obviously want to make sure you have the correct information so you can be here for said shows.

We’re less than two weeks out from our final shindig here at the Pairing Bar.
I’ll reflect on all the amazing moments from last week in another post at another time. For now, on with the show.
Tonight is Sixx Feet Apart. If you want a night of singalong’s this might be the show for you.
They’ll be covering everything from Tom Petty to The Ramones.

Before I get into this week’s events, I have to stop and acknowledge for a second just how fantastic last week was.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday were all pretty amazing times. Thank you to each and every person who took to our stage and also to every single person who attended those shows.

Now onto this week.
Today is one of only two days remaining with no live entertainment of any sort at our bar before we pull the shade down for good on March 30th.
If you’re looking for a quieter evening, tonight would be a good one for that.

We’ve had this show on the books since late last summer I believe. West End Junction will be our final touring band. Let’s show them some real good times and help them make a little dough to get to the next town.

i’m gonna go out on a limb and venture to guess that this will be among the rowdiest of nights we’ve ever had the pleasure of hosting at our bar.
Dead Ven, Little Vines, and all the folks from the Money Wolf collective are set to throw us one big damn party as part of this ongoing grand finale.
It’ll be loud and drinks will be had. Count on that!

Day 24 It’s almost Xmas and best of all is the end of this awful World Market wine! 😆 It was a complete landslide victory for Aldi this year. Thanks to everyone for following along and we will see you in the new year. Merry Xmas and happy new year! PS, watch til the end. 😆

Day 23 I think by now y’all know how this goes. 😆 Aldi 👍🏼 World Market…🤮😆 One day left! We will get you the official tally and close everything out proper late tomorrow. Happy holidays!

Day 22 Aldi came in with a nice Italian merlot that was rather enjoyable. Let’s not talk about that World Market red blend though. 🤮😆

Day 21 Only four days left and we’ve determined that Aldi will be the clear cut winner this year. Maybe World Market can surprise us with something special at the end though. Thanks @chloejacobsob for joking us!

Day 20 In a rare turn of events we got to drink some very average wines today! 😆 At this point average is a win! Thank you @roundtablerye for joining us today as well! Only 4 days left y’all. Get that last minute Xmas shopping in while you can!

Day 19 Today’s #aldiwineadventcalendar featured a Hungarian white blend that was actually one of our favorites of the season so far! It’s about damn time! 😆
