It's over, Johnstown.
Friends, family, superb customers, and even the Jerks; we have truly appreciated you all!
From what started as two young goofballs dreaming of breaking into the beer business and changing everything to becoming two old dudes with wives and kids, it has been one crazy, wild, and fantastic journey.
We could not have started without great family support and tremendous friends who would dedicate their free time for some delicious beer and food. Our parents, who we aged unnaturally by coercing them into helping get this roller coaster going and continue to run for almost two decades, and, most importantly, the backbones of many dedicated and unbelievably fantastic employees, including our buddy since kindergarten, the greatest trivia host, Dustin.
To keep this from being pages long, there have been plenty of incredible moments over the years, awesome events, and so forth, but the fact that the saloon created so many loving relationships that have blossomed into both strong friendships and incredibly successful marriages is something that we personally take the most joy in.
From the humble beginnings of Tulune's Southside Saloon, the chaotic madness of the steakhouse, and now with the closing of the Southside Brew-Thru, it truly is the ending of a journey full of way more ups than there were downs, and in the end, the "Two Loons" both found incredible women and are happily married with adorable daughters to keep us busy for the rest of our lives.
