Just received a new shipment of cider from Seminary Hill Orchard & Cidery in Callicoon! Cackling Hen is a semi-sweet easy drinker that pairs well with a wide variety of food. Tom's Beard is semi-dry with tropical fruit notes and bright acidity. Delaware Dry is, as the name says, bone dry with floral spice and medium body. We are proud to offer these incredible local ciders! Your time would be well spent to take a ride up to Seminary Hill and enjoy their wonderful menu offerings and the amazing views!

Saturday is Kentucky Derby Day! Celebrate "The Run For The Roses" with a Mint Julep in the appropriate steel julep cup! Woodford Reserve is the official bourbon of the Kentucky Derby and we also have whiskeys from Pinhook Distillery with various thoroughbreds on the labels. We hope you pick the winner!!
Mint Julep Recipe
8 mint leaves, plus mint sprigs for garnish
1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
2 ounces bourbon
Crushed ice
In a chilled julep cup muddle the mint leaves and Simple Syrup. Add the bourbon and crushed ice. Set a swizzle stick or bar spoon in the cup and spin between your hands to mix. Top with additional crushed ice and garnish with the mint sprigs.
As you may know there has been quite an interest in some hard to find bourbons. We were fortunate to receive some Buffalo Trace and Eagle Rare 10 Year. We haven't been able to get these whiskeys for a number of years! Stop in and check out our shop, listen to some good music and enjoy the beautiful weather!!
