It’s our first business day of the year. Always exciting, and reminds me of the feeling I would get when I was a kid on the first day of school. We’ve got so much more to learn, people to meet and work to do. I love it all, and can’t wait to see what year six brings to our little shop and family. Thank you for keeping us going. IMPORTANT NEWS

It’s our last wine tasting of the year today from 4:00 to 7:00pm when we will be opening 5 (4 from France & 1 from Argentina) Big Bottles of wine for you to taste. Magnums make great Christmas gifts, are great for Holiday Feasts with big groups, taking to New Year’s Eve celebrations or simply drinking on your couch with your crew while watching the Ducks win the Natty this year. Remember, options are a great thing to have in life.

Today is also the last day to shop with us before Christmas. Please consider buying from locally owned independent retailers when possible. It sucks to say, but Wine Shops like many other types of small specialty retail shops are a dying breed and dropping like flies due to the competition we face from corporate entities. If you have a favorite store, pub or restaurant you cherish please don’t forget to frequent them.

Lastly, we will only be open a few days late next week to wrap up the year, and then we will be closed for our annual winter break from December 29th to January 15th. With that being said - if you need some wine come see us beforehand and we will take good care of you.

Thank you for another wonderful year. I can’t believe in a few months we will be celebrating 6 years in business. Time flies when you are having fun!

Save the date for our next wine tasting on Saturday December 7th from 4:00 to 7:00pm when John Soares from Sacred Shore Wines will be in the shop pouring their exciting new releases. $10.00 tasting fee waived with bottle purchase.

Sacred Shore was founded in 2021 by Andrew Riechers and John Soares, who are passionate about Galician wines and Oregon’s terroir. They make a variety of wines in the Willamette Valley including Albarino, Chenin Blanc, Sangiovese and Mencia.
