Folks it’s time for another today from 2-7 PM.

The temperature is thankfully starting to go down, so to celebrate we’re breaking out a bottle of something a little stronger to warm the soul.

We’ll be tasting Kopke Fine Ruby Port, from the oldest port wine house. Perfect for cooler weather and with dessert.

This week we have Educated Guess Napa Valley Red Blend, a dark, tannic blend of Merlot, Petite Sirah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Perfect for the gray day today.

Happy Halloween!

Today from 4-6PM we’re teaming up with our friends at catheaddistillery to do a tasting of their new Hoodoo Espresso! This delicious mix of Cathead Vodka, free trade Nicaraguan coffee from northshore_coffee, and demerara is a must have!

As always the tasting is free with no purchase required. And be sure to pick up a passport for Cathead Crawl tonight!

Folks it’s Friday which means another here at Fondren Cellars. As always we’ll be tasting from 2-7 PM at no cost, no purchase necessary.

Today we’re changing it up from grapes to rice. This week’s tasting will be White Lotus unfiltered sake and Thousand Cranes from Origami Sake from Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Made with 100% Arkansas-grown rice varieties and mineral water sourced from the Ouachita Mountains, both of these sakes are sure to please anyone who enjoys this famous Japanese beverage.

Today we’ll be tasting out some Gorgeous Grenache Blanc and Gorgeous Shiraz from Thistledown Wines.

The Grenache Blanc is light and citrusy with a hint of honeysuckle. The Shiraz spicy, slurpy and peachy.

To get past the blues of the hurricane this week we’re offering a wine packed with fresh fruit flavor, Stork Wine le Vignerons d’Estezargues Carambouille from storkwinecompany.
This fresh Grenache heavy blend is great at room temp or with a slight chill!
