Let's get spooky! Our annual Trunk or Treat is Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the Lake Vesuvius Recreation Area boat launch parking lot from 5 to 7 p.m.

Partners and Forest Service staff will be on hand to pass out candy to kids and campground occupants. Partners and staff will wear costumes and decorate the trunks of their vehicles. Come out and have some fun!

TRUNK OR TREAT AT LAKE VESUVIUS
Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023, at 5:00 to 7:30 PM
At the boat launch parking area, near the Rock House Trail entrance

We know the kids are excited for Halloween! If they can't wait until the end of the month to dress up and get some candy, then they're in luck! Bring them to our TRUNK OR TREAT event at the Lake Vesuvius boat launch parking lot on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 5:00 to 7:30 PM! Partners and Forest Service staff will be on hand to pass out candy to kids and campground occupants. Partners and staff will wear costumes and decorate the trunks of their vehicles.

Many partners are helping with this event, including SWAC (Southern Wayne Advocacy Council), Ohio Highway Patrol, Lawrence County EMS, Lawrence County Soil and Water Conservation District, Lawrence County Commission and elected officials, and Ohio University's REACH program. Thank you for your contributions!!
