Established in 2000, the West Indy Bass Club is dedicated to the art of bass fishing, add the competitive setup of our tournament structure, and you have all the makings of a fantastic day on the water. As a member of the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (BASS), we fish about 8 or 9 tournaments a year at lakes mostly in Indiana, but sometimes in adjoining states. Members must belong to BASS, and our
tournament rules use their format. With our Indiana BASS membership, we are able to send an 8 man team to fish against other teams in the state, and possibly qualify one of our members on the state team who would go on to fish nationally, and possibly to the Bassmaster Classic. Wouldn’t that be cool? NO PROBLEM! Our club includes boaters as well as non-boaters. This makes for a great learning situation for a non-boater as you can possibly fish with a different club member every tournament, learning new areas to fish, new "must have" baits for your tackle box, new techniques for catching those elusive HAWGS, and most importantly, making new friendships that will last a lifetime. So if you love to fish and some friendly competition, talk to one of our existing members, or better yet, come to one of our meetings and meet the whole club. We would love to have you join our club.
