Our client is very independent and active, we want to keep it that way! Here are just a few of the simple changes we recommended to her:
Opening narrow doorways will improve mobility with any future use of assistive device and decrease risk for falls. We also recommended installing a few grab bars/railings in the high traffic areas to improve safety. Her patio area is beautiful and one of her main priorities, so making simple changes to her deck will make it more accessible for everyday use.
