Today we mourn the loss of our sweet friend Tyler Brown. Tyler was a frequent face at Ider Food Mart. He was always polite and kind every time we saw him. We never know when it's the last time we will see someone, we never know when it will be our last day. Remember to always be the kind smiling person that Tyler was.

There are no words that can express the pain Tyler's family is going through. Our prayer for you is that God will give you strength to face the coming days ahead without your sweet boy.

Tyler Anthony Brown age 25 of Ider died Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Funeral services are Saturday, July 22 at 2 PM CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Shannon Paschal officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM Friday and 11 am until service time on Saturday.

Survivors include parents Lisa and Brian Holland, sister, Sierra Brown, grandparents, Harold and Carolyn Brown, Coy and Barbara Holland, half-sisters, Emily, Haley and Samantha Payne, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tyler was a 2018 graduate of Ider High School and was employed at Ider Foodland. He was a member of Ider Rescue Squad and loved being outdoors, hunting, and fishing.

Linda Williamson
We are in shock, our hearts are shattered, but we know the suffering for her is over. Her family that she loved more than anything is hurting and we must all pray for their comfort.

Linda worked with us for many years, up until her health would not let her. She was loyal, honest and a handful. She had sass and she had passion, often both at the same time! She and I had a running joke about the rubber boots she would wear, but she would slap those nails on the counter (if you know, you know) and say "But don't my nails look good". That was Linda, my friend.

She was always talking about how much she loved her family. You could tell she loved them more than herself. She was always putting them first. That is what a good mother does and I know that was why she fought for so long to get well. God has a purpose for our lives and I think Linda's was taking care of her family. God told Linda, "Good Job Momma, but I need you now".

Here is an update on the severe weather potential for Friday afternoon into Saturday morning. The Storm Prediction Center has most of the Tennessee Valley highlighted for severe storms. Damaging winds and tornadoes are possible. Some of the data is still back and forth on the timing. We'll keep the window from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning and make adjustments as we get closer to the weekend. Stay tuned!
