Chris Schroeder, Houston resident, owner of Schroeder Heating and Cooling, LLC., husband of Tami, father of Danni Hamernik and Ava Schroeder, grandfather of Gloria Mae Hamernik and another on the way has been an incredible blessing to our Houston and Fillmore Counties.
Unfortunately at the end of last November Chris was diagnosed with "heart failure" and was immediately admitted to the ICU in Lacrosse. After many setbacks and several tests, it was determined Chris needed to be transferred to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester and on December 26th they performed a successful triple bypass surgery followed by an ICD (internal cardio defibrillator) as a backup for several arrhythmia disturbances. Chris is now at home and is a few weeks into Cardio Rehab to strengthen his heart and get him back to work. Chris is an extremely hard worker and is hoping to get back at it, however the amount of medical bills will be filtering through. Chris has given the shirt off his back to keep you warm in the winter and much cooler in the summer and is also one of the founders of D.L.C. which gives back to our community. We believe they need our support so he can continue his work and his mission he truly enjoys. Please consider to join us in our fundraiser to help defray the costs of his bills. Chris is too dang proud to ask for anything and we know he has a heart of gold so let's make this fundraiser a huge success for him and his family. We are fundraising our Hot Stuff Frozen Pizzas, there are Five Varieties to choose from so come on down to the store and place your order. We will also be placing order forms at JT's Bar and Grill, BP, Cox True Value, and Root River Market
