Originating from the prestigious Grand Cru Hengst, this Pinot Noir benefits from the distinctive terroir and its south-facing orientation, resulting in exceptional aromatic power and concentration. After vinification, the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels, which imparts remarkable complexity and length, sure to impress both gourmets and wine connoisseurs. Since the 2022 vintage, this wine holds the prestigious Grand Cru status. The name "Equus" (Latin for "horse") pays homage to its origins in the Hengst Grand Cru vineyard—"Hengst" meaning "stallion" in German.
