Having been members at this winery for the past few years, we are more than thrilled to have Turnbull Cellars in the shop. This is the heart of Oakville, some of Napa’s most sought after Cabernet Sauvignon country and Turnbull produces a variety of wines including several acclaimed and highly rated Cabernet Sauvignons. Some beautiful wines for the hot Texas summer just made their way to our shop this morning.

Robert Sinskey Pinot Blanc - A fresh, crisp style of Pinot Blanc, full of green apple flavors with just a touch of cinammon. The fruit is pure, concentrated, dry and floral but also just plain drinkable.

Robert Sinskey Abraxas - This blend of Pinot Gris, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Gewürztraminer is a gem! The aromas and flavors transport you to a garden party in the South with floral hints of lilac, gardenia, magnolia flowers and fresh fruit notes of apricot or white peach, pear and lychee backed by classic Riesling mineral characteristics and hints of lime. The citrus notes add a crisp and refreshingly long finish. Pairs with almost anything you want to throw at it from fish tacos to pad thai to tarte flambé. The wine will become more complex with time in the cellar as the flavors merge and texture becomes more round.
