We're getting excited, as the days are getting closer to our 9th Annual Fall River Hot Air Balloon Festival starting on Friday, August 23 and going through Sunday, August 25! Saturday evening is our GLOW NIGHT, and it's an exciting spectacle to see!

We want to make sure there is no confusion over the location of the Night Glow event, as we hope everyone can attend. This year's event locations are at the Centennial Park in Downtown Hot Springs, and the Michael J. Fitzmaurice South Dakota State Veterans Home, located at 2500 Minnekahta Ave. Festivities begin at 7:30pm and usually go until 9pm.

Plan to join us, and experience the special ambiance only a hot air balloon can create!

Due to the storm last night taking out our power lines and large trees our general store will not be open until 4pm so we can clean up the trees in the driveway.

We all have been busy building a small community of exciting businesses to visit and enjoy 😊 shout out to the Angostura Lodge, and Good Life Boat Rentals! many of their staff and owners have stopped by Sandy Bottom Campground & General Store to support us and introduce them selves. All Great people supporting each other!!
