Wine Nerd Wednesday Report 🤓: How to Open a Bottle of Bubbles 🍾: 1️⃣ CHILL the wine for 2-3 hours before opening (should be 47-50 degrees)! Then remove the foil to expose the cage (wire topper). 2️⃣ Place a hand on top of the cage and loosen it, 6 turns of the key. Keep your hand on top - avoid explosions!💣 3️⃣ Grip the cage + cork in one hand. It’s safer to leave the cage on during the opening process 4️⃣ Slowly turn the bottle back & forth with the other hand while applying downward pressure on the cork 5️⃣ Slowly release the cork & cage, you’ll hear a subtle “pffft” aka a ‘Queens fluff’🙃 6️⃣ Pour into glass & enjoy with friends + family safely🥂CHEERS! All sparkling wine is 10% off this week!!
