I wanted to take a quick minute to get sentimental here on this snowy Thanksgiving day. Teresa, Sarah, and myself has been at king's cove for over 20 years now. And during this time, we have gotten to know so many of you so very well. We have been there through the birth of your children, through your marriages ( and sometimes your divorces), through your graduations, your moves, job changes amd the loss of people that you loved. We've shared holidays together and provided you with some pretty stellar booze. We have shared laughs, stories of families and our lives.
We've shared our ups and downs inevitably over these last decades.
We started off in a very tiny store that 4 of us could run easily and have morphed into this beast that takes 12 of us. Many of you stayed with us. And many of you joined after we moved. Regardless, we would not be where we are without you today. It's hard to not look at many of you as our extended family. And I know that the rest of our staff feels the same way and for that, we are truly grateful to each and every single one of you. Not just today but everyday.

I would also like to acknowledge the amazing people that We've worked with over the years. I often tell people that we are not just co-workers or employees at king's cove. We are all truly family. That has always been the case with all of the employees that we've had in the past. All of whom I have the absolute most love and respect for, but it is most especially true of our current staff on hands. They are truly fierce, strong women, amazing Mothers (to both human children and fur children) , and they are extremely loyal not only to us but to making the store the best that it can be and I am forever grateful for each of them.
So thank you.
And know that we are so truly blessed to have not only amazing customers but exceptional staff. And we hope that you all have the most amazing Thanksgiving day ever.

A HUGE happy birthday week to our incredible Becca!! It's rare to find someone that doesn't know and love Becca! She taught half the town how to swim, is the ultimate band mom, she and her husband have scared the living daylights out of the Southside of Holland every year with their haunted houses on Halloween, and she's the one with the biggest smile selling you your favorite drinks at the Cove! Becca is definitely the big sister of our team! She always pushes you to do your best, leads by example, listens to your problems, and gives you that tough love! The day she runs off to follow her dreams of living up north, our store and souls will lose a little sparkle! Until then... we will soak up every moment!

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY week to not just one, but TWO of our amazing team members!
Jen is our secret Rockstar!!!! If you haven't heard her belt out lyrics, you are sincerely missing out!! Jen is the first one in, ready to start her day and always has the funniest joke or out of pocket knowledge to share. We are so lucky she keeps putting up with us in-between her magic hands ( she's a massage therapist too!!!) And her voice! We love you so much Jen!!!

Sarah is our ride or die! She's been here for 20+ years and the store wouldn't be half of what it is without all of her dedication through through the years! Some of you had her waiting on you waaaaaayyyyy (😂) back in the day when she had all the piercings and the constantly belted put into random song and dance routines! She still does that, just usually it's hidden while she works in the office! Lol. She is the first to help someone hunt something down, keeps all our orders in place and basically just keeps us running like a well oiled machine!
