Introducing CoolVines new exclusive wines from the La Preara winery. The La Preara winery is located in the heart of Veneto, in the province of Verona, in the splendid panorama of the Soave.

The Bianco Frizzante is a slightly carbonated wine made from indigenous white grapes in purity. They are harvested manually when ripe and left to ferment spontaneously with only indigenous yeasts. The wine referments in the bottle for the second fermentation with the addition of dried Garganega grape must. On the nose the bouquet is expressed with hints of white flowers, herbaceous notes, bread crust and minerals. On tasting we find a fresh, savory wine of great intensity and easy to drink. This wine works wonderfully for an aperitivo or paired with light fish and meats.

La Preara Rosso is a red wine made of 100% Corvina, grown in Montorio a prized area of Valpolicella. Both the aromas and palate are bursting with dark fruits. Its tempered acidity and minimal tannins give just a bit of structure. This wine is perfect for pairing with lighter meats.

One of the most intriguing things to us about the wine world, is its endless variety. There's a seemingly limitless number of permutations in flavor, structure, and aroma that can be the result of fermented grapes. While there are arguably the same number of factors that influence a wine's character, the grape variety tends to have some of the biggest impact. Again, we find ourselves in a rabbit hole. From altesse to zibibbo, there are more varieties of grapes than makes logical sense, but too often we tend to focus on a handful of "noble varieties".
