Friendly reminder that we will still be taking donations for Asheville now through Saturday October 12! Heidi has recieved a wonderful amount of donations to bring to her brother, Porter, whose restaurant (Main Street Grill) is a distribution center to the local community, but they could use some more help with other basic necessities such as:

2️⃣ Toiletries

As many are aware, Hurricane Helene has destroyed much of Western NC. One of our Palmetto Dunes General Store staff members, Heidi, has a brother, Porter, who lives there and his restaurant (Main Street Grill) is helping continue to feed his neighbors for FREE. 💚 The restaurant has become a supply distribution center for the local community, but they need help with other basic necessities. 💚 If you are able to give, please drop off your donation here at the Palmetto Dunes General Store by this Saturday October 12th. (Or donate directly: https://bit.ly/3XZxS2W)

Donations: aside from nonperishable food items and water, they are also in need of necessities including toiletries, diapers, wipes, baby food, baby formula, premade baby bottles, blankets, socks, clothing, batteries, flashlights, lanterns, candles, hand warmers, etc. 🧻👕
