Did you know? Earlier this year, our local Hilliard food pantry faced a fire and has been working hard to recover.

In honor of Giving Tuesday, for the next two weeks, we’re hosting a food drive to support them.

Bring in any extra canned goods or shelf-stable products to help those in need this season! Below is a list from their website of items they are desperately in need of.

If you aren’t in a position to be able to donate consider volunteering or even just making a post to spread the word.

Begin with ci**rs known for their aging potential. Look for long-fillers made from top-notch, aged to***co. Maduro and Habano wrappers often age beautifully. Seek recommendations from your local cigar shop or explore enthusiast forums for tried-and-true choices.

Step 2: Acquire a Quality Humidor:
Invest in a reliable humidor, ideally made of wood, with a snug seal. Ensure it's equipped with an accurate hygrometer and humidification device. Humidors come in various sizes to suit your collection.

Step 3: Season the Humidor:
Before introducing your ci**rs, it's crucial to season the humidor to establish the right humidity level. Follow the manufacturer's guidelines, including using distilled water, and let it sit for several days to reach around 70% humidity.

Kintsugi was a labor of love for Alec and Bradley Rubin, representing an homage to an ancient Japanese art form. In this tradition, broken ceramics are meticulously joined together with gold lacquer, making them even more beautiful. Just like this art form, ci**rs have a unique power to bring people together, fostering fellowship and connections.

Crafted in the Raices Cubanas factory in Danlí, Honduras, Kintsugi is a blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers, dual Honduran and Nicaraguan binders, and a Honduran Trojes wrapper leaf. It's available in four sizes, including the Toro we're reviewing today.
