Don't miss the opportunity at the Lifesaving Station this Thursday with the Sandy Hook Young Professionals when they host their second Sound Healing Experience. Free!? We love free! Sandy Hook offers a variety of free programs for visitors of all ages and interests. Our programs are a free opportunity this summer to have fun at the park, spend some time with a Park Ranger, and learn about the natural and historical resources of Sandy Hook. Want a free yoga session on the beach? We offer it! Curious about the Nike Missile Radar Site or Battery Gunnison? We will teach you! Would you like to climb the historical Lighthouse and see the view? A Ranger will take you up! Want to bring your dog safely to the Hook? We will show you how! Interested in a group hike? The Race is on!

We were told this afternoon by the awesome Rangers at Sandy Hook that we WILL be allowed to hold the race on Sunday, regardless of any possible shutdown happening in DC. The race is ON. Bib pick-up and late registration available on Saturday at Road Runner Sports in Shrewsbury from 11 AM to 2 PM. 😀😀😀😀

Beach fees are waived today

To celebrate , Gateway is waiving parking fees at Jacob Riis Park and Sandy Hook on August 4. Gateway has multiple projects funded by the Great American Outdoor Act. Find out more on our website at www.nps.gov/gate.
