From 1938 until the mid-1970s, our store included a full butcher department. Back then, the nearest supermarkets were in Franklin, Newton, or Warwick. While cleaning out, we came across these fresh meat price tags from around 1972! The middle one is in our grandfather’s handwriting. He’s been gone for 40 years.
