Service to others comes in many forms. Kim K., Scanning Coordinator, Marketplace Foods, Hayward, WI, volunteers for the Northwoods Human Society & Fishing Has No Boundaries, Hayward Chapter. She supports the Humane Society with routine tasks and assists with fundraising efforts. She served on the Board of Directors for Fishing Has No Boundaries, providing fishing opportunities for disabled individuals. She supports fundraising efforts as well.

"Volunteering with the Human Society began as an opportunity with my children in 2007. Watching the good that comes from helping the animals find homes makes me feel a sense of accomplishment," said Kim. "As for Fishing Has No Boundaries, there is nothing better than seeing the smiles of the participants going fishing. They look forward to the two days a year that they get to be out on the water. Many participants have come for many years, and seeing them is always nice."

During National Volunteer Week, we recognize team members who support our company's Core Value of Community Giving on their own time. Their support of their communities is inspiring, and we honor them this week.
