We did something a little different - we opened a Bourbon by the innovative Dave Phinney 's Savage + Cooke An American Distillery.
The Howling Mob Bourbon Whiskey is a limited batch (31 barrels), 4 year aged, Bottled in Bond (100 proof) Bourbon.
The name "Howling Mob" comes from the ancient heirloom that makes up 93% of the mash (7% Barley).
From soil to barrel to bottle - Dave Phinney is known for the details and this Bourbon is

Reverse Engineering...
Josh & Lauren have been working to recreate a cocktail from their past! Gin, Lime juice, Maraschino cherry liqueur, Lavender bitters (and something we're still figuring).
Lauren's been making Lavander bitters and we took a few runs at the recreation!
