Seebrich - Viognier - Trocken - Germany
Bone dry, light acidity, and a high mineral content produces a texture that matches perfectly with Virginia country ham, turkey, or any gamey bird or hog… find stone fruits with a hint of citrus, and a light petrol note - indicative of ripe German white wines! This is a very special wine, it is rare, and difficult to procure. Supply is limited when it’s gone it’s gone... seize the moment and enjoy now! Poured this wine at our last wine tasting - everyone literally loved it or liked it… how often does that happen? Yes, it will be a hit at your Thanksgiving feast!

Ruttenstock - Gruner Veltliner - Austria
Made from 100% Gruner Veltliner, find green apples, orange blossoms, and a light mixed citrus tone… the finish is smooth, dry, and round with hints of lingering white pepper and savory spices. This wine has everything going for it - comes in a 1 liter bottle, an extra 8.5 ounces, basically two more glasses of wine. Sells for well under $20 a bottle and will match any dish on the table this Thanksgiving!

Maison Julien - Pinot Noir - Southwest France
A classic wine for the holidays and even better to go with a heavier meal. This Pinot is on the robust side with big ripe cherries, strawberries, baking spices on the finish, and developed tannins for a palate cleansing finish. Sip-able on its own, but really shines with a harvest style meal!!!

Consentido - Monastrell - Spain
Looking for something different that everyone will love? From Yecla, Spain we have this 100% Monastrell showing off blackberries, to***co, cedar, and savory spicy tones. The body is medium-full and lush with big fruit up front, and a velvet finish! Rated 91 points by James Suckling if you are keeping score!

Erbach - Riesling - Germany
The 1 liter bottle strikes again - what a deal! Looking for something on the sweeter side? This Riesling is from the Rheingau region of Germany - stylistically placing more emphasis on the rich fruit flavors. This wine is all about smooth and displaying a light honeyed tone throughout the experience. No bite and no burn, just a smooth as glass semi-sweet Riesling to perfectly match with any Thanksgiving feast!

Beaujolais Nouveau & Gluhwein Have Arrived!!!

Beaujolais Day is the third Thursday in November… The Nouveau arrived a day late this year due to heavy traffic in the shipping lanes. We fought hard to be sure Vintage Wines received inventory as soon as possible - instead of well into next week. The Nouveau arrived to us yesterday and is available for purchase now - just in time to go with Thanksgiving.

Gluhwein from Germany also arrived yesterday… Gluhwein is a lightly sweet and smooth spiced / mulled wine. Excellent when consumed warm and is a traditional German Christmas wine.
