2017 Lawrenceburg Speedway Track Champ. I met Orville Wright in 2016 and we should’ve won the Merrill Downey Memorial that year and came up about a lap short and ran 2nd. In 5 years racing for Orville we won 3 track championships and numerous races in that span. I’m super thankful to have met Orville, but man I’d really like to know what we could of done together if we had met about 20 years earlier. Great guy and friend to everyone in the racing community!!

TBT. 2007. Ran this modified some while running our rookie year of late models. Leading at Florence and lapped cars wrecked in front of us coming to the white flag and collected us too. This car also won best appearing racecar at the 2006 Cavalcade of Customs car show.

This picture right here is the only thing that was a positive in life this year. Cru turned heads on the football field in 7th grade like I would have never imagined. He was a starter on offense and defense all season with 53 kids on the 7th grade team! Mind blown! This was the first year in 35 years that I didn’t turn a single lap on a racetrack somewhere. Crazy! We tried to build a house this year and got the wind blown right of our sails with that as well. Unreal! I lost my job of almost 9 years on Sept 30th with the bu****it reason of “They didn’t have one”. All while bringing in more business for them and then decreasing my earnings in the process. Blind sided! But things work out for a reason and 2025 is looking to be one of the best years yet! When you go up against the three people in my family you better want it pretty bad because we don’t back down and we don’t turn back! Bring it 2025!

Dad found these out in the garage this week. I was 16 years old in this picture. The old Lawrenceburg used to easily get over 50 modifieds weekly back then. Almost 27 years ago. Crazy!

10 years ago today. Time flies! Second race we ran at Lawrenceburg after coming out of the late models. Had 15k tied up in this whole deal. Car, motor, trailer, everything. Won on a Usac night and it paid $1,000 back then. Boy times sure have changed! LoL

You never expect some of your dreams to come true when you’re a young kid but sometimes they do. Mine was to race late models like two of my heroes my father and Scott Bloomquist. I got to race Scott for a transfer spot in my rookie late model season for the biggest race of the year at Florence Speedway with the best in the sport. We battled for 12 laps and transferred in to the feature with 90 plus late models in the pits that weekend. I only talked to him a handful of times and he was always cool to me. A memory I will not soon forget. I’ve watched about everybody in this sport at some point and no one compared to him on any level. Still sinking in that this guy is gone! Rip Bloomer! ☠️

Started last in the heat race and drove up through the field to get the win! Finally get a chance to see what happens starting on the pole of the feature!!

Hard to believe this was 17 years ago already.
Rookie season in a late model.
2007 Florence Speedway Rookie Of The Year.
Made the North South 100 starting field.
Sure doesn’t seem that long ago!
