A Driving Ban is in effect for the Towns of Brant, Evans, and as of 9:30 AM Hamburg. This includes the villages of Farnham, Angola, Hamburg and Blasdell. Visibility is only a few feet past one's windshield.

The NYS Department of Transportation has closed Rt. 219 from I-90 to Peters Rd. (near Springville/Cattaraugus County line).

A Travel Advisory is in effect for all of southern and central Erie County. No unnecessary travel is advised. It may seem OK where you are and be horrible a mile a way.

The snow band is also expected to move. If it does and conditions worsen additional travel bans could be put into effect.
