Hey, you know what ? Entertaining the motorsports community isn't really my responsibility......I think that I'm not gonna be a "force" on facebook anymore. Even though I have several thousand pix still alive and ready to post, I don't really want to do all the work just get a couple of " "likes" or "cool picture" comments. Maybe I' ll be back someday, maybe not. So, I probably won't be around, posting (or reading) any comments in the near future. If I get out of my mental funk, maybe I'll be back someday. Really, who cares? I'm just gonna try to concentrate on staying alive for a few more years. Adios, amigos, y gracias por su interestante.

It is with a very heavy heart that I have to inform you that MILO WALZ passed away a couple of days ago. He had been hospitalized after his latest "mini-stroke", as he called them, in his home state of Washington. While in there he contracted Covid-19 and in his immune-compromised condition, he had no chance. Milo was a bit hard to take sometimes, as he wasn't afraid to voice his opinions, but was also all heart, and great friends with the Walt Mahony family, and also with Dan Mahony's ex-wife Vickie Mahan's family since the 1960's. After breaking both ankles in a highside while leading John Hateley and the pack in a 1970 race at Ascot, he was forced to retire from riding, but not from racing. For decades he was #2 in the pits for riders like Gene Romero, Gary Nixon, Chuck Palmgren, Frank Gillespie, and other stars of the era - see photos below. He even crewed for Romero's only Indy Car start at Phoenix. I'm not going to go into "Milo" stories - if you knew him I'm sure that you probably have a story to tell of your own. God bless him, and all whom he knew, and those who knew him. He was loved and will be greatly missed. He was also an Army Vet, and was married, without children, for a few years in the 1970's. He didn't get the shots.
