♥️ Gulf Shores ♥️

🦫 🌕 What a shot of last night’s “Beaver Moon” over the Gulf Shores water tower last night! After a string of “Supermoons” the last three months, last night’s marked the last one we’ll see until late in 2025.

According to NASA, the term Beaver Moon has origins in a variety of traditions and folklore in Native American and European culture. This could be partly because November is when beavers prepare for the winter by fortifying dams and stocking their food supply. November was also the season to trap beavers for their thick, winter-ready pelts to use for warmer clothing.

Even though last night was the moon’s peak fullness, tonight’s is sure to show off as well… so look up!

51st Annual National Shrimp Festival is here!🦐🦈
Here is some helpful tips and information for our Souvenir City customers and visitors who are coming to enjoy the Festival.
🦈Our FRONT PARKING LOT is dedicated for CUSTOMERS ONLY
🦈You will see an attendant by the entrance:
🛑 PLEASE SLOW DOWN🛑 they will give you a parking pass with an hour window to shop that you will leave at the dashboard.
If you need more time to shop - DON’T WORRY😉 - just come see an attendant 🦈💙🦈
🦐BACK PARKING LOT is designed for the visitors who are attending Shrimp Festival
$10 to park
🦈Store will opens at 8AM
🦐Shuttles are available at the below locations:

Gulf Shores:
• Pelican Place: 3800 Gulf Shores Pkwy. - ADA ACCESSIBLE SHUTTLE
• Erie Meyer Civic Center: 1930 West 2nd St.

Double red flags mean that WATERS ARE CLOSED to the public due to potentially life-threatening rip currents and dangerous surf. Those who enter the water will be subject to a fine and possible arrest.
