With our 2024 season over we still have some apparel left.
With that being said we are going to do an end of the season sell to try and clear out our inventory.

After racing a brand new car at 5 different tracks in 3 different states starting the season racing 2 nights a week then slowing down to 1 night a week after Jacob's illness here's how we finished our 2024 season.
We ran a total of 19 races this season. Unfortunately 2 of them were dnfs.
We had a total of
17 top 10 finishes.
13 top 5s
2 fast qualifiers
1 heat race win
And the highlight of the season. WE FINALLY FOUND VICTORY LANE IN A LATE MODEL!!!!!!!
Unfortunately as everyone knows our season was cut short by the wreck and Jake definitely feels like this season ended on unfinished business. But in true Pops Motorsports fashion they already have everything tore apart and are starting on planning and getting things ready for the 2025 season.
We want to give a massive thank you to Bill and Jeffery at Southern Racing Enterprise and Tony and Jenson Ford at TNT Race Cars for taking a huge gamble on us this season. We are forever thankful for everything you guys have done for us this season.
Jake would like to give a huge thank you too his unsung heros behind the scene.

This post hurts to make. 😔
Last night the team traveled to shadyhill speedway for the final points night.
The night started off good. Jake was 3rd quick in practice. Draw started us 4th in the heat race.
In the heat race is where the ugliness happened. On lap one of the race the leader turned up into the front stretch wall. Through the dust Jake didn't see him wrecked until the last second. There was extremely hard contact which totaled both cars.
The team is unloading cherry today and will get the damage parts tore off and access the extent of the chassis damage.
Unfortunately that is going to be the end of our season. We would like to give a massive thank you to TNT Race Cars for building an extremely safe car. For the impact Jake took last night to only get the wind knocked out of him and be alittle sore from the belts is a blessing.

Race day recap.
The team traveled to shadyhill speedway last night for autograph night.
Jake decided to set out practice and started last in the heat race due to bad pill draw.
Jake was super happy with the car in the heat but unfortunately 2 laps into the heat race the rear float stuck on the car flooding the motor.
We started 8th in the feature. Dodged a few wrecks and picked off a few cars and moved up to 4th. After a late race red flag Jake said the right rear felt like it just never fired. We still managed to bring the car home 4th and only suffered some drivers door damage.

Weekend recap....
After being out of the car for about a month Jake finally climbed back behind the wheel of Cherry Saturday night at Shadyhill speedway.
In practice it looked like Jake never missed a beat as he topped the leader board.
Unfortunately do to pill draw Jake had to start last in the heat race but would drive up through the field and end up finishing 3rd.
In the feature Jake started 3rd. The top 3 checked out from the field and ran a good green to checkered race were Jake would end up finishing 3rd.
We can't thank Jensen Ford and the amazing folks at TNT Race Cars enough for all the amazing tech and setup support they have provided all season long.

Well the news we have all been waiting for. After being out of the car for the last 2 weeks Jake has been givin the green light and will be back in action tomorrow night at shadyhill speedway piloting his TNT Race Cars late model.

This is a hard post to make and we want to first off apologize to our fans and sponsors
Wednesday evening Jacob was admitted into the er and had emergency surgery Thursday morning. After speaking with doctors and the wound care physician we will unfortunately be out of the car for the foreseeable future.
Jacob is itching to race but his health is more important right now. We will keep everyone posted on how things are going and when he will be able to race again.
Again sorry to all our sponsors and fans. This came at a terrible time of the season as we were just getting things rolling with cherry.
