Unfortunately our pizza oven is not heating so we are unable to cook pizzas! However, these do cook well in the oven at home if anyone is craving pizza, we are selling them to take and bake. We are not sure what is wrong with it nor how to fix it, but we hope to get it figured out soon! 🫣 We still have other hot lunch options in the warmer!

We are taking orders for these cute trees! This size (3’) is $40. Other sizes are 2 different sizes shorter. Can do taller they will just be more. We had people today buying multiple sizes/colors to make a cute display.

We almost sold out at an event today as we had these and several smaller trees! If you see one you like and would like to order, we have some orders already and will be glad to make one for you while we are making!

Note: we will try our best to match it as close as we can depending on availability of ribbon, greenery and berries.

Congratulations to our neighbors Kim & Sharon at Beyer Motor Company! They were honored all weekend long for their 75th Anniversary and a special car show was held in their honor! We are proud of you and thank you for all your contributions to our community for 75 years!!

We finished our busy week with the best parade around lasting 45 minutes this year! A big shout out to Kortnie & Dallas and Amber & Luke for all the hard work in recreating the store for our float! Everything was perfect from countertop, pizza oven, cash register to the transforming the play house to look just like Grammy’s store!

We’d like to give a huge shout out to everyone who supported us in some way this past week! It was an incredibly busy week but was fun getting to offer different things and to work alongside all the family!

We hope you enjoyed Carl (we are hoping he will come back for a visit next year!😉), the Butter Braids, the cups, koozies and shirts. We still have some of all of those fun things available if you missed out.

Thanks to Anna Kraft & Alex Kraft for leading the way and for all the countless volunteers who made it all happen! It just might have been the best one yet from all the runners Friday night to the awesome crowd and parade Saturday night! We are proud to be a part of this small town with a big heart! We have had a lot of complaints and questions this week about the child labor laws so we thought we should address the issue before they shut us down! 🚓

Our evidence will prove that Parker and Haddie were granted many opportunities to rest and have some fun! Between all the number crunching and taking inventory, stocking shelves and cleaning there has been a whole lot of fun, too! Golf cart rides, blowing bubbles, playing with toys and making laps on the Mickey express around the store - oh and checking on Carl our pet caterpillar, too!

We can also testify that it is NOT illegal to feed them M&M’s for breakfast as we see no laws that say otherwise!

We have provided two exhibits (see below) that demonstrate that the minors are not indeed overworked.

We are still waiting to hear back from the county attorney, but for now we rest our case! 🤣

Seriously, thank you for following along this week on the adventures of Parker and Haddie and sorry for blowing up your newsfeed. We promise we will quit after today! 🫣

If they aren’t passed out from pure exhaustion, they will be in the parade tonight so be watching for the now famous duo! 😉

Sharing this story here today as the store was recently featured in The Madison News/Emporia Gazette, which is how it came to us that she has devoted 50 years to serving the Gridley community!

Yesterday we did an impromptu surprise party for the one really behind it all. She started working in the store 50 years ago and we thought it was worthy of some recognition!

She started working for John Clotfelter in 1974 and has now owned the store for 33 years!

Customers that came into the store yesterday morning were treated to donuts and yes, we even gifted her “the stupid shirt”! 🤣

We are proud of her and know this week is a super busy and tiring one for her so wanted to throw in some fun and pamper her a bit.

Please stop in and see her today to congratulate her on the big milestone!

We seriously “donut” know what we would do without her and for the amount of people we have seen in the past week, I think it’s clear the community would be lost without her, too!
