Week number 11 is in the books and Trump 85 is still in the lead. Very minor shuffling this week as there was a max points of 6 available( five people got that) and one column had all 4 teams win so no one gains there. Six teams are on a bye this next week (Falcons, Bills ,Bengals, Jaguars, Saints and Jets). 28 sheets are within 5 points of the lead and safe to say anyone below 40 is mathematically eliminated. Looking forward to watching the Tyson vs Paul fight tonight while consuming some new Winter Ales we now carry. Bad Santa, a Cascadian Dark Ale by Pelican Brewing Company Fa La La La La by Double Mountain Brewery & Cidery and Jubelale by Deschutes Brewery out of Bend Oregon. Awesome beers all in six pack Bottles and only available for a short period of time.

Week number 10 of the HH football pool is complete and we finally have a new leader in first place. Trump 85 took over first place all alone with 50 and a 1 point lead over 5 other sheets. 6 points was the highest possible points this week as two categories had no wins. Also, all 4 teams in the first category won, so that is a wash. There are 8 weeks left in the pool, and time is running out to make your move. When clicking the link, I will say anyone the bottom portion is mathematically eliminated. Everyone else is more than alive. Week 11 byes are the following teams: Cardinals, Panthers, Giants, Buccaneers...Good luck everyone!!!!!

Finally finished with week number 9 of the HH football pool.. Pat Thomas #1 is still in the lead, however, they lost some ground due to Stump and Dave Vinik both getting a perfect 8 out of 8 (and yes they have the exact sheets). There are now 15 sheets within 3 points of the lead. The byes for this upcoming week are the following teams: Browns, Packers, Raiders, Seahawks. After this week exactly half the teams will have used their byes up. Still early , but am sure anyone below 35 points is eliminated. Everyone else is still fine, but you really have to average 5 a week to stay in the running..Good Luck Everyone!!!!

Week number 8 in the HH football pool is complete, and Pat Thomas #1 still has a comfortable 3 point lead over Vinnie M. with 40 and 5 others chasing at 39. We are basically half way through the season and starting to see some serious gaps. I will say with 99% confidence anyone under 30 points is mathematically eliminated. Also a special Congrats to Mary Ann for being the only sheet to get all 8 points this week. There were about 15 sheets that got 7. Still plenty of time for those above 30, but every week will eliminate a larger chunk. Good Luck to all and remember the goal is to be in the top 14 at seasons end.

Week #7 is in the books for the HH football pool. We are starting to see a little separation up at the top of the standings. Pat Thomas #1 is alone at top with with a perfect sheet with 38 points(max Possible) and a four point lead. Four sheets are tied with 34 and another 12 sheets close with 33 points. While I don't have archived records, I do not ever remember a perfect sheet this far into the season. Still anyone's game, however I will say safely say anyone below 25 points is pretty much mathematically eliminated at this point..Crazy things do happen though..Good Luck to all.

Week number 6 is finalized in the HH football pool, and Pat Thomas owns sole possession of first place with 31 points, with 6 sheets tied one off the lead with 30 points. There are 18 sheets within 2 points of the lead. Remember top 14 sheets continue on into the playoffs. Very tight race with the top 7 sheets averaging 5 or more points each week. The byes this week are the Bears and The Cowboys. Good luck to all!!!!!

Every once in a while, i catch myself thinking way deeper than i need to. I decided to go pick up some trash on a trail before hitting the courts for a little tennis. I filled 3 bags and easily could have done more, but had no other bags with me. Tough leaving trash behind, but any little part helps. On the way back to the car two Jehovanahs Witnesses came upon me, looked at my bags then proceeded to ask me if i would like to learn more about their church on Sunday. I fought with how to answer the question. As they stood there in nice collared whites, I really wanted to ask them if they would go back and help me pick up the rest of the homeless remnants that were left behind. Perhaps they would have obliged and done their part, or perhaps they would shoot me down, just like I ended up politely doing. I asked myself who really is helping the world more in this instance? Then as i walked away, i went back to my usual thought process that we are all on our own path, hopefully living life how we feel best serves the planet. I passed 3 homeless people on my way to the car, and one thanked me for picking up the trash. While back at the car, i decided we are all helping each other one way or another, perhaps those two continued down the path, and convinced a desperate homeless person to choose their path, and now on their way to getting clean and experiencing a better life. If not, at least their temporary home is a little more clean for their next day in the wild.. Just thinking out loud. Peace and love to all, no matter what your path.

As the Fresh Hop season comes to an end, we still have around 8 or 9 different ones left in stock, one of which is Fresh Hop Ipa coming in 16oz four pak cans. This fresh hop West Coast IPA comes in at 6.9% ABV and is brewed with fresh hops picked in Willamette Valley.

Week number 5 is in the books and we have a two way tie for first place with Pat Thomas #1 and BV with 28 points and 7 sheets right behind with 27 points. There were no perfect sheets, but a ton of people did get 7 points. The following 4 teams are on bye this upcoming week...Chiefs,Rams,Dolphins,Vikings.. Good Luck to all involved!!!!

Sorry for the late update this week. We now have a new leader at Top Nathan Miller who owns the tiebreaker at 23 for getting more wins in week #4. Additionally, only 3 points separate the top 30 sheets. Very tight race. A special congrats to these 3 sheets for being the only ones to get a perfect 7 points this week(no winner in category 4. Rose T ,Jmerz, and Air Force Mom 13 were the only 7's.
Week #5 is the start to bye weeks with the Lions ,Chargers, Eagles, and Titans not playing this week. Also there are 30 sheets averaging at least 5 points a week, so anything less than that will likely only drop you further from the lead. Good Luck to all.....

The HH football pool has been updated, and for the first time first place is in sole possession of Melissa Gittamag with Trump 85 one point off the lead. Five sheets got a perfect 7 out of 8 as no team won in category 5. Just an FYI there will be no way to win this without averaging at least 5 games a week( 44 sheets doing that so far) and 6 sheets averaging at least 6. Plenty early in the season..Good Luck to all!!!

The football pool has been updated to reflect all the games through week number 2. A special congrats to Vinnie and Snickers for being the first two sheets with a perfect 8 for the week( BTW they have 7 same picks, and 1 different pick). Also a congrats to Trump 85 and Melissa Gittamag for being tied for first place with 14 points. Both sheets got 7 each week(and they have 6 of the same picks and 2 different). After week one we had 8 sheets tied for first. After week number 2 we have 9 sheets for the top 3 positions. Thinning out a little quicker then years past. Still super early, so the lead will change endless times. Good Luck to all!!!!!

The moment everyone has been waiting for. The football pool is finally up and running with over 240 sheets. There are likely some mistakes in peoples team names, so please message me if a change is needed. Also I had to shorten a few names that were too long to enter. The standings are after week 1 only and no one got a perfect 8 out of 8. Ironically 8 people did get 7 out of 8, and sadly one sheet got an embarrassing 0 out of 8.. Sorry "Love TD's" but had to call you out for that rough start...Great name though;) This link can be saved to your phone, so you can check it anytime you wish.
