“My bid day was little bit of a blur because I was so excited to join this sisterhood. It was one of the best days of my life since I was able to meet so many of my lifelong friends and be able to do some good with my college experience. Bid Day last year was less of a blur and so much fun. I was able to meet new girls who were going to get to experience the same feeling about that day like I did. I was also excited to make even more memories with my sisters. Being able to share my excitement for this organization with any new members makes me very happy! ☺️”

“I didn’t know what to expect from bid day but it quickly turned into my favorite day and has been all four years and will be til the day I die. I got to meet so many welcoming and loving girls whos excitement radiated throughout the room. It has become even better being the one who gets to share my excitement and I hope that everyone gets to have the same wonderful experiences I have.”

Todays core value is Learning! As one of the main reasons we are at Lander University, learning is an especially important value for our sisters, especially our Education Vice President, Kaitlyn Williamson.
“The core value Learning is one that is sometimes overlooked because we don’t realize how much we learn in a day. Life long learning is something we all should strive for.
Since joining Gamma Phi Beta, Learning has been a core value that I feel very strongly for. This core value has definitely pushed me to do better academically but it has pushed me even more to learn more about myself. Since joining Gamma Phi, I have had a lot of self growth. I wanted to be a better sister, a better friend, and a better leader. I had to learn so much about myself that I never thought was possible to ensure that I was the best person I could be for this chapter and organization. Whether it be an academic, personal, or social goal, I still have to work to achieve them.
