A Decade of Growth and Leadership at Spinx
Lucia Myers, the General Manager of the new Inman, South Carolina Spinx store, recently celebrated a significant milestone—10 years with the company. Her journey with Spinx began through the Manager-in-Training program, which prepared her to step into the role of Assistant Manager.
Before joining Spinx, Lucia worked in convenience store management for a company that operated under a franchising model. While she appreciated certain aspects of that structure, she sought greater stability. Spinx's non-franchise model caught her attention, offering job security and clear growth opportunities.
Reflecting on her decision to join Spinx, Lucia emphasizes the development and support the company has provided her over the years. "Spinx is a great company to work for. It's all about its teammates," she shares. "The programs Spinx puts in place help its teammates succeed, and the company has a strong family-oriented culture."
While now happily married, Lucia spent the majority of her career at Spinx as a single mother of three. She credits the company with providing the financial stability she needed to support her family, including the opportunity to purchase a home. Lucia often shares her journey with prospective team members—particularly single mothers—to showcase Spinx's commitment to fostering both professional success and personal growth.
Looking to the future, Lucia's goal is to continue growing with Spinx and contribute to its mission of supporting teammates and customers alike.
