The Aladino Cameroon Reserva is the first cigar ever produced using 100% authentic Honduran Cameroon-seed to***co. This 6x52 Toro is extremely limited in production and heavily allocated. It will be available for sale starting Thursday, and Justo will be here to tell you more about it and to sign boxes.

Illusione’s Group of Five “RB” is shrouded in mystery. The first of five releases, this cigar features a seed varietal of to***co not recently grown in Nicaragua. What is it? Your guess is as good as ours. “There is just as much mystery surrounding the to***co as there is about The Group of Five namesake,” said the company in a press release. The logo of the brand says, “whispering tongues are treachery” in both English and Latin.

The Warped Isla del Cocodrilo has arrived! The blend uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, a dual binder of Ecuadorian habano 2000 and Brazilian Arapiraca, and a Nicaraguan filler.
Offered in 2 sizes, this cigar has spiciness up front that subsides into a nice creaminess, cocoa, and earth with floral and citrus undertones on the retrohale. There have been ci**rs made in the past honoring different people in the cigar industry. From the Legends collaboration from Padron and Fuente to anniversary and birthday ci**rs made for Rocky Patel. Now, there is one for the late, great, Arsenio Ramos.

Arsenio Ramos served as the Master Blender for Aganorsa Leaf for many years and blended some of our favorite ci**rs, including our very own La Colonia. The heart and soul of Aganorsa, Arsenio Ramos knew to***co better than most. His expertise and experience elevated him to, in our opinion, legendary status. Dare I say, he should be on the “Mount Rushmore” of cigar blenders. His legacy lives on today, and Aganorsa has crafted a cigar that honors him.

The Arsenio is covered with a beautiful Corojo wrapper leaf and has binder and fillers from Aganorsa’s farms in Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa. Medium-Full in both strength and body, this cigar’s flavors dance on your palate. Black pepper, cream, milk chocolate, toasted grain, and leather notes on the palate are complimented by barnyard, pepper, and some vanilla on the retrohale.

All stores will be open and operating under normal hours today, July 3rd. All stores will be CLOSED on July 4th EXCEPT for our High Point location. They will be open from 10am-2pm to service your last minute to***co and alcohol needs. All stores will reopen and operate under normal business hours Friday, July 5th.

Legends are forever.

The wait is finally over! What might be the most anticipated cigar release of all time has hit the Pipe & Pint. On Saturday June 22, we will be releasing the famed FUENTE Y PADRÓN LEGENDS cigar. The cigar will be for sale at 10am Saturday in the Greensboro store only, any remaining ci**rs will be available online next week. If you are a customer at another store and are interested in purchasing this, please call the Greensboro store. We will take payment over the phone and then get your ci**rs to whichever store you’d like to pick them up at.

FROM HALFWHEELl: Each box of Fuente y Padrón Legends will contain 40 ci**rs: 20 made by Arturo Fuente and 20 made by Padrón. Both ci**rs are 7 x 50 Churchills; the cigar made by Fuente is round, the cigar made by Padrón is box-pressed.

No blend details about either cigar have been disclosed.
The project was created by Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr. and Jorge Padrón to honor their respective fathers: Carlos Fuente Sr. (1935-2016) and José O. Padrón (1926-2017). In an interesting twist, the cigar made by Padrón is to honor Fuente Sr., while the cigar made by Fuente is to honor Padrón.

“I made a cigar that I thought, if I ever run into (José O. Padrón) ever, the cigar in my pocket, that’s the cigar I’d like to hand him and say, ‘this cigar, let me know what you think, this is for you,’” said Fuente Jr. to halfwheel. “And knowing (José) Orlando Padrón, he probably wouldn’t have said anything. He would have said, ‘Gracias amigo.’ (Thank you friend.) He would have got the cigar, and maybe a year later, when I ran into him, he would have said, ‘by the way, that cigar wasn’t bad,’ and that would have meant an incredible, great cigar and that’s all I ever wanted from someone like him.”

This week we are highlighting the vintage 2006. The star of the show with this one is the 11 year old Mexican San Andrés wrapper leaf. Hiding under that is a Connecticut broadleaf binder and all Nicaraguan long fillers. Made at Rocky’s TAVICUSA factory in Esteli, this is the first addition to the Vintage line that will be produced outside of Honduras. This unique blend creates a really bold and robust flavor profile that is rounded out nicely with some natural sweetness. On light up flavor notes of sweet to***co, black pepper, oak and dark chocolate are prominent. A solid medium to medium full all the way through, this cigar has a ton to offer. The blend features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, an Ecuadorian habano 2000 binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Nicaragua and Brazil. The to***cos used in the blend have been aged for a minimum of five years, with the blends described as being in the mild to medium range.”

This week we are highlighting the **rs Companion de Warped. A 4.5x48 Rothschild that wears a Mexican San Andre’s wrapper over a Dominican binder and filler to***cos from the DR and Nicaragua. This is just the second time Warped’s owner, Kyle Gellis, has made a cigar using a Mexican wrapper leaf. The results are a perfectly medium to medium plus flavor profile, complimented nicely by subtle strength. Tasting notes consist of coffee, chocolate, pepper, earth, and sweet to***co. You asked (and asked and asked), and we listened. The Pipe & Pint is proud to announce the arrival of the most requested brand of the last 2+ years, Plasencia Ci**rs!!!

The Plasencia family is no stranger to to***co. In 1865, Don Eduardo Plasencia started growing to***co in Vuelta Abajo, Cuba. In 1963, the family and their descendants fled Cuba due to political turmoil and moved to Mexico. Shortly after they relocated to Nicaragua. Due to more political turmoil in Nicaragua, the family had to yet again uproot and flee to Honduras in 1978. After much perseverance, in 1995 the family consolidated their interests in both Nicaragua and Honduras and became one big cigar manufacturer. Shortly after in the year 2000, the Plasencia’s became the only OCIA-certified grower of organic to***co.

Today, over 30 companies trust Néstor Plasencia and the Plasencia family to manufacture their ci**rs. They are the largest grower of to***co in the entire world, and produce over 40 million ci**rs annually.

In 2017, the family finally announced their own brand was set to come out, and they’ve been making waves ever since.

Manufacturing some of the finest ci**rs coming out of Nicaragua and Honduras, we are proud to have a newfound partnership with Plasencia and look forward to you trying their ci**rs (if you haven’t already). The time has come for the ultimate tasting experience! For those attending please see the following information.

The event will begin at 6:30pm at KAU steakhouse in Greensboro (2003 Yanceyville St.) located at revolution Mill.

We will begin with the Aganorsa experience hosted by Fabian Ziegler. This will be followed by dinner and then a collective cigar smoking experience, smoking the Pipe And Pint 25th anniversary, which is made up of the to***co from Aganorsa that you will be able to experience. There are no physical tickets. Everyone who’s registered will be on a list and we will have a registration for you to check in and receive your gift of ci**rs and dinner wristband.

All alcohol will be cash bar at the outdoor bar.

We can accommodate a few last-minute additions if anyone is still looking to participate. Please call the Greensboro store for availability.

Join us Saturday, May 11th, for the Ultimate Tasting Experience with Aganorsa leaf ci**rs and Kau steakhouse in Greensboro.

Fabien Ziegler Director of Sales and Business Development for Aganorsa ci**rs will lead a cigar tasting experince that is second to none. Showcasing multiple varietals of Aganorsa’s award winning to***cos in the form of fumas and finished ci**rs. Fabian will walk us through from seed to finished product helping to better understand what sets Agnorsa ci**rs apart.

After our initial Aganorsa experience our attention will be then turned to Kau Steakhouse and their staff as dinner will be a buffet and carving station of the finest offerings from one of the hottest restaurants in Greensboro.

For the night cap we will all indulge and enjoy a finished Aganorsa cigar to bring home the total experience.

The old, made new. Now available at The Pipe & Pint, the newly reblended Cromagnon from RomaCraft ci**rs!!!!

Due to a shortage of Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Skip Martin and Mike Rosales of RomaCraft were faced with a problem. Do they discontinue one of their most beloved lines? Do they reblend the cigar and call it something else? No, instead they have reblended and reinvented the Cromagnon, and they did a fantastic job.

Now featuring a Pennsylvanian Broadleaf wrapper over a hybrid Sumatran binder and fillers from both Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic, the new version still features the full bodied experience that Cromagnon smokers love, but with a little more balance. Black pepper, cream, earth, cocoa, spices, and coffee dance on the palate and make you want to keep going back for another puff.

It’s Foundation Friday, and to celebrate we are happy to announce the arrival of the newly reblended and rebranded Wise Man Corojo & Maduro!!!!

Now being manufactured at the famed My Father Ci**rs S.A. factory in Nicaragua, the reblended versions offer a new twist on an old classic.

Both ci**rs use the same types of wrapper leafs as before, but from a new farm and field. The Corojo lends itself a little more medium, with notes of cream, peanuts, toasty bread, spice, and a little cocoa. The Maduro is more medium/full and has darker flavors of earth, black pepper, dark cocoa, coffee, and a little dark fruit.

With pricing between $11-13, these ci**rs are a great daily driver for any cigar smoker, new or seasoned. Available now in Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, and Southport. We will see you soon.

This week we are highlighting the Aj Fernandez Bells Artes Maduro. Released in 2016 the Bellas Artes ci**rs got their inspiration from the Bellas Artes art museum in Old town Havana. The museum displays artwork from many different periods throughout Cuban history as well as pieces from around the globe. Covering up binders from Mexico and fillers from Aj’s Nicaraguan farms is a dark toothy Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper. This unique wrapper and binder combination develops a bold and full bodied flavor profile of rich dark coffee, chocolate, earth and black pepper.
