Our staff is passionate about wine, spirits, and of course, craft beer, and it shows the moment you walk into our store. We have built our business into one of Wisconsin's bottle shop destinations not only with our products, but with our knowledge and enthusiasm to help with any questions, from the "must have" beer today to planning events.
So tequila is definitely the fastest growing spirit right now. The main area of growth is the additive free tequila. We brought in a bunch of new lines focusing mainly on that. These are all highly rated and on the shelf now. We have more coming in the near future too.

Old friends and local residents who grew up within a couple miles of Ridgeview Liquor, Josh and Joel have teamed up to tackle ownership together. With the support of their wives, they will rely on their individual strengths with Josh on the front line at the store and Joel providing business support services.

Bella, Sonoma County Dry Creek Zinfandel
I am partial to the Alexander Valley which is cooler than Napa Valley and is only a short drive away. It is however, a world away from Napa. More rural with less costly tastings it is well worth the trip. Today, I am featuring the Bella, Sonoma County Zinfandel, from Dry Creek, 2016 (maybe a couple 2015’s in the mix). This is a more refined style of zinfandel while still being powerful with an opulent mouth feel. Only 564 cases were made and there is only one case left in the store. Made up of 77% Zinfandel, 18% Petit Syrah, and 6% Petit Verdot. All of the fruit is sourced from Bella’s vineyards with the bulk coming from the Lily Hill vineyard. There is a single vineyard Lily Hill also available. French, Hungarian and American oak barrels with 20% new overall were used to age the wine. It has bramble, black berry and cherry and hint cloves on the nose. The palate is rich but not thick with dried fruit, prune, raisins and wood noticeable. The finish lingers and seems to gain complexity after each sip. Somehow it feels refined and well balanced even though the alcohol is 14.7% ABV. This pairs well with braised short ribs, chocolate, pizza or anything with a good rich fat content. It is a terrific wine at $ 20.99 and even better at $ 16.99. It will cellar for a few more years but why wait?
