We get asked a lot this time of year about Advocaat. Unfortunately we do not sell it but here is a way to make your own. See below and enjoy!

DDD16 - ✨It's time to make our advocaat! 🍹Advocaat is a traditional Dutch drink that combines rich, velvety flavors with a hint of nostalgia. It's often referred to as "Dutch eggnog," but it's thicker, creamier, and typically enjoyed by the spoonful rather than as a sippable beverage. Advocaat is often served in a small glass with a dollop of whipped cream on top and a small spoon 🥄 for eating. It is often enjoyed by itself, but also makes a great topping for pancakes, ice cream, or cake. In our case, we're going to make enough to do both: enjoy a little nip every now and then, and use it to make a traditional Christmas cake. 🥮

As always, make the recipe your own. The brandy in the US is light brown so the yellow will somewhat be different than the one you get in a bottle (plus you're making it at home and not in a factory!). You can also use vodka, whiskey, or clear rum. And if you're feeling adventurous, why not try a vanilla or almond liqueur - I won't stop you! 🐔🥚✨✨ Recipe in the link below.

We're hiring for multiple positions:
1. Retail customer service which includes cashiering, stocking and general customer service in our store in Grandville! Must be at least 18 years of age. Must work well with others and relate well to customers of all ages and backgrounds.
Computer skills, good communication skills and attention to detail are all important. Shifts are between 9am and 7pm Monday - Saturday. Our store is closed on Sundays! 20+ hours per week.

2. Warehouse: General warehouse labor including order picking and packing, stocking, and potentially assembly work. This position is at our Hudsonville warehouse. Daytime, 20-30 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Must be 18 years of age.
