Our Wine Club continues to grow and curating it each month is one of our favorite things to do! April Wine Club release day is tomorrow (Tuesday, the 1st) and we can’t wait for you to get your hands on these bottles.

Interested in joining “The Cru” Wine Club? For only $50/Mobth, “The Cru” is a curated selection of 3 unique bottles of wine per month specially selected by our Owner and Certified Sommelier, Tom. You can choose from All Red, All White, or Surprise Me! (Surprise Me! may include the occasional Sparkling or Rosé/Skin Contact). “The Cru” Wine Club monthly release is available for in-store pickup on the 1st of each month and is accompanied with producer notes and pairing suggestions. Conversations Un-corked: Chapter I

Join Tom for the first event in our new Wine Lounge for an intimate (8-person) educational wine tasting as he’ll be un-corking and sharing some of his favorite wines from Burgundy. If you’ve ever been curious about “special occasion” or “bucket list” wines, then this an evening that you won’t want to miss! Tom will lead you through a tasting that will feature 3oz pours of 4 unique wines, and as we taste these wines we’ll discuss the storied history of these producers and why they’re always so sought after. An assortment of cheese and charcuterie from Steadfast Private Chefs will also be provided.

It’s FINALLY official - Our new Wine Lounge is open for business! Thank you to all of you who’ve been patiently waiting along with us during this process and to all of you who’ve offered words of encouragement. We truly appreciate you all!

The Wine Lounge is going to be cozy - After all, we’re only a 600 square foot retail store! But if you’ve shopped with us, then you know that it will be a place of community, conversation, and friendship. It’ll be a place that you can unwind while you finish your work day or where you meet up to kick off your evening. It’ll be informal service with outstanding hospitality. So bring a friend, or better yet, come and meet a new one, and allow us to fill your glass!

Our Wine Lounge Menu will offer a hand-curated selection of wines by the glass, along with a rotating selection of Beer, Cider, and Ready-To-Drink Cocktails. And of course, a small selection of Bar Snacks will always be available and we are glad to welcome in food from our neighboring restaurants. In addition, ANY bottle from our Retail Shelves or Fridges can be opened and consumed for only a $20 on-premise Corkage Fee - No “Wine List” pricing frills. Ever!

To kick things off, we’ll be nixing the Corkage Fee for ALL bottles of wine this weekend. You heard that right, come relax and enjoy a bottle of wine in the Wine Lounge for retail pricing!

“What’s your favorite wine?”

We get asked that often, and if the answer wasn’t just immediately “Champagne” then the wines from Giuseppe Quintarelli were probably mentioned. Nestled in the rolling hills of Veneto, these wines are such a beautiful expression of both time and place. Nothing is ever rushed at Quintarelli - 2017 is the current vintage release of this particular bottling, a Corvina-based blend that also incorporates the other red grape varietals grown on the estate. Production is minuscule at only 4000 cases/year and these wines always go quickly. Come get your hands on one of these bottles and find out for yourself why we love them so much!

Last Saturday y’all showed up and showed out - And drank us out of Champagne in an hour! So this Saturday we’re running it back and pouring Champagne again, because after all, New Year’s Eve is upon us. And if it’s not Champagne that you’re planning to pop open when the ball drops, rest assured, we’ve got you covered. So swing through from 12-3pm (while supplies last) and taste these with us.

The lineup:

NV Champagne V***e Fourny “Grands Terroirs” Brut 1er Cru
80% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir
Partial barrel-aging combined with partial malolactic fermentation, and 2-1/2 years of in-bottle aging, make this a great mix of round, creamy, and elegant - It’s an excellent “house” style. And seriously, THIS is the “V***e” that you should be drinking!

NV Champagne Waris-Hubert Brut Rosé 1er Cru
85% Chardonnay, 15% Rosé of Pinot Noir
As Waris-Hubert describes it, “this Rosé wears a pink dress with almost fluorescent purple highlights!” It’s loaded with notes of brambleberry and red currant with a bright and mineral-driven finish. Call us crazy, but we think that this is the perfect brunch pairing as you unwind on New Year’s Day!

A wonderful “entry level” expression of Champagne! It’s generous on the palate with a great combination of fruit, acid and minerality.

NV Champagne Paul Launois “Monochrome” Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru
100% Chardonnay
All things considered, this is quite possibly our favorite bottle of Champagne on our shelves! All Grand Cru fruit from a Grower Champagne producer that neighbors the vineyard holdings of Krug and Salon, two of the most iconic producers in the region - Oh, and for a fraction of the price too!

NV Champagne Baron-Fuenté “Grande Réserve” Demi-Sec
60% Pinot Meunier, 30% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Noir
If you’ve never had Demi-Sec bubbles before, you’re missing out! Yes, it’s sweet. But the acid is vibrant and the wine is incredibly balanced. It’s a great dessert pairing!

Join us at 7pm on Thursday, January 16th, as we welcome back our talented friend, Evan Talen of The Flavor Sherpa , for an evening focused on cheese and wine from around the world. Evan, a Certified Cheese Professional, will educate you on the various styles and production techniques of cheese while Tom, Grand Vin’s Owner and a Certified Sommelier, will pair wine with each of the cheeses. Come and enjoy a 5-course whirlwind tour of cheese and wine with two of the biggest nerds in town!
