Count along; We've got, not one, not two, but THREE fresh Arvon Beers in the house this New Beer Wednesday!

"300-Pound Chimp", the newest in the "Chimp" lineup, is a Triple NEIPA with Cryo Citra, Cryo, Amarillo and Simcoe hop. Sure to satiate the snobbiest of suds slurpers (meh, alliteration...)

But also, what the heck is "Anchovy"? Don't worry, Resilience Brewing, aka Schilling Beers side project from NH, hasn't lost their mind. Anchovey is a new, and strangely named hop varietial out of the Pac NW. Described as having aroma and flavors of "watermelon hard candy, raspberry, and pine", this experimental hop has to be tried to be believed.

Happy Spotlight Sunday!

Today, we hope over to the Creston Neighborhood to say hello to Foliage and Flour, a small, independent florist and bakery. A classic combo, if we've ever seen one!

Starting in 2023, the husband and wife duo of Alicia and Harrison opened with a rekindled love of baking rustic, artisinal, Old World breads and other baked goods.
Converting their small backyard into a 350 sqft garden, they now grow over 50 plants for both bouquets and baking.

We love fresh baked bread almost as much as we love wine and spirits...almost. These two make it hard though.

It's Friday, and you know what that means...
..Happy New Tariff Day!
Oh, wait. That's not good for our industry, but we can talk about that later.

For now, let's talk about tomorrow, because we have a stacked lineup full of deliciousness.

Firstly, let Ben transport you to the Iberian Peninsula to explore some delicious, and cost-effective red wines that will make you yell "¡Ay Dios mio!" or possibly "Oh meu Deus!".

But also, the brewery with the logo that kinda looks like Matt, will be on table 2, slinging the suds that are not duds.

If you're not familiar, every 13 weeks we bring back the best selling wines from the previous Saturday tastings (Jan 1 thru last Saturday). So if you don't like the lineup, that's your fault...😉

Want to find out what they are? You're gonna need to show up and find out yourself.
White wine? Red Wine? Light, full? Bone-dry, sweet af? Friends, that's what we call a teaser.

But beyond that, every wine that we tasted (if it's still around) is one sale as part of your CG Wine Club discount. They're all set up on our Residual Tasters rack up in the Wine Loft. Be sure to ask if you cant quite remember the name...there's bound to be a list around the store somewhere.

One little vacation, and he thinks he runs the place. SMH.
Anyway, it'd be nice if you'd come out and see him Thursday night and try some of his favorite "Imperial" Beers, and discuss the importance of alcohol as a flavor component.

Also, as a special treat, at the same time 530 to 8, Iron Fish Distillery will be joining the party, bringing their northerly, farm produced spirits for your pleasure.

Congrats to homies over at Lost Art on the West Side of town. If you've not made it over to Walker lately, these guys and gals have been crushing it since opening. With the expansion, and addition of the kitchen, they're turning what already was a great stop into a must visit!

After opening during the height of the pandemic, Lost Art started a food truck. It became so popular that they're expanding the brewery with a new kitchen and menu.

Happy Friday all, & Happy Spring!🐣

What better way to kick off the season of rebirth than with Festal Wines for your Spring holiday season...and beyond.

We have Brian here, with his questionable tastes in sports teams, holding tomorrow's Belle of the Ball, the 2020 Rizzi Barbaresco. This elegant Northern Italian stunner spent 12 months in oak, then another 3 bottle aging before reaching our shores. It might be, without a doubt, the best red wine we've discovered this year.

Not to say they all aren't, but we're excited for you to try this one for sure.
Well all, but yeah...

But also, our friends from the Northlands are swinging by. Northern Latitudes Distillery founded in 2012, and have been slowly growing their portfolio, and cult, since. These people can cook up some good juice, and we're happy to have them along from noon til 4.

Dated commercial references aside, we can see the weekend on the horizon. What better way to kick it off tomorrow with 'The Madness', and beer!

We're continuing our exploration of das Mutterland with a dive into the wheated end of the pool.

Weizen, Weiße, Hefeweisse, whatever you call it, call it cold and refreshing, and pivotal to the development of so many other styles that we know today.

As always, 530 til 8ish, come try something 'sehr gut'.
