Welcome to the first RECORK of 2025!

And you picked up right where you left off. We started the year with the first week with our new yearly tasting series, "With Purpose".

"Winter With Purpose" is our exploration of all things wine that bring comfort, and community, in these dark and cold months.

Starting with everyday French reds (that lean more on the cost-effecient side of things) y'all showed out, and bought us out of what's sounds like your new favorite blends.

Welcome to 2025...With Purpose.

"With Purpose" is our new approach to the year. Our goal in creating this program was to look at not only what we drink, but HOW we drink it.
We hope to be more intentional with you, and in turn, your beverages.

With wine, we've spent the better part of the last 3 years teaching you about places and grapes and styles. Now it's time to take all you've learned, and put it to practice. It's all about situations, and timing, and being very practical, intentional. Drinking with Purpose.

Each month we explore different variations on the theme "With Purpose", and show how it's all been leading up to this. Starting this weekend, with "Winter With Purpose", a 4-week course on wines that comfort, and connect.

We're excited to roll out this program, and hope you find it as fulfilling as we intend it to be.

Our friends from Mammoth Distillery are going to be in the building with us, sharing their finest crafted wares. If you've not had the chance to try out anything from this Central Lake Michigan based distiller, you NEED to swing thru.

As the lone Wisconsinite in the building, I know Charles Woodson for different reasons (Go Pack!).

But I'll admit, he did have a pretty glorious college career. So what better way to celebrate a Super Bowl winning legend (🧀🧀🧀) than with his very own Bourbon.

This Limited Edition, 3 year old Kentucky Straight Bourbon is the perfect gift for that Maize and Gold fan in your life.
Commemorating their 1997 win over THE Ohio State University to complete their perfect season, Woodson features notes of sweet corn, baking spices, vanilla, with a hint of nutty peppers.

This pretty looking bottle sure won't last, and would look perfect on that Michigan themed bar.

Hey, wow. What a weekend.

We went big, y'all went big. Good times all around. We should do it again some time.

Welcome to your rewind of the weekend that was.

After wading in the waters of lighter reds for the holidays (pinot, gamay, etc), Ben went all gas, no breaks for the BOLDEST weekend of the year. B.A.R. weekend for sure (I'll leave it to your imagination what that acronym means).

I don't know about you, but we're not about to be caught in this blizzard without appropriate supplies.

So why not take this opportunity to snuggle up with some of the best wines of the year?

When we saw this year's Spectator Top 100 list, we couldn't disagree with many of their picks, at least of the ones we could afford😉

So, we jumped and the opportunity and bought a bunch of the, what we felt, were the most cost efficient options. Here's your chance to see for yourself what the hype is about.

Once these are gone though, they're probably gone for good. So you don't want to miss out.
