This morning Montgomery County 911 (Dispatch) has been fielding calls about someone calling citizens from our 712-623-5107 phone number claiming to be a Deputy or staff member of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. They are telling people they have overdue citations, court fees, and/ or failed to appear for jury duty. They are requesting 💰money to clear up these fines by a app or money transfer site.

‼️THIS IS A SCAM‼️

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office will NEVER call you requesting money.
