Did you know we have a pretty fun inventory of wines, sampled and hand-picked in collaboration with Kate, our “wine lady” as we like to call her, but more officially known as our wine and spirits broker? Kate and her team specialize in traveling the world to find the best independent sources of wine in order to offer some of the most unique and special experiences for their customers like us!

We would love an opportunity to share some of our current selections with all of you.

🌷 Yes, Mother’s Day is THIS Sunday!

It’s time to start thinking about honoring the person who brought your mom into this world, the person who birthed you, the woman or women who raised you, the one who birthed your child(ren), the sister who gave you nieces and/or nephews, or let’s face it - celebrate yourself if life gifted you the opportunity to be a mom, be it to human offspring, or fur babies, or to become “the world’s coolest auntie”.

This Friday and Saturday we will have gorgeous freshly picked local tulip bouquets available!!! Locally grown and lovingly arranged by our friends at Winni Woods Farm! Be sure to get yours before they sell out!!!!

We are elated to share that not only have we reopened TODAY (yes, we are open NOW until 6pm!), but you will begin to see a couple new faces. We would like to thank Terrence and Heather for all they did to elevate The Village Store to new heights during their tenure here. This historic location is such a magical hub of this wonderful community, and we are pumped to have the opportunity to not only replicate the greatness established before us, but make some enhancements we think the community will very much enjoy!

Thank you in advance for your patience and grace in the coming days and weeks as we get our feet underneath us (probably making several mistakes along the way), develop synergy with the staff, and invest a lot of love in continuing to serve you all.

Lastly, to answer everyone's burning question, "Are you changing the menu??!!????" The answer is: NO! Why fix something that is not broken?

First and foremost, we would like to say THANK YOU!

Thank you to each customer we have had the opportunity to serve these last few years. Since Day 1 you guys have embraced us and made us truly feel like family. After a lot of careful thought, we have decided that selling the business is what's best for us. We can't thank the town of Gilford as well as the Lakes Region enough for taking us in and will cherish all the relationships we have built. Although, this chapter will be coming to an end, we are excited for what's ahead.
