Who would believe that last night we had a fabulous concert/party with Jammin’ Joe and so many of our fabulous customer/friends! We hope that those who came had as much fun as Pat and me! Thank you Joe Jam, our super set- up/clean up crew, and all who joined us!! We love you!

First, a HUGE THANK YOU!
Thank you to our loyal customers who have come to the Lakeland Store for the past 22 years! Your patronage, friendship and sometimes help with projects has been appreciated more than you know!

Thank you to our valued staff! There have been nearly 80 staff over the past 22 years, and for many it was their first job. How fun it has been to see these kids blossom and grow! Our team has been the glue. With their hard work and great customer service, the store flourished!

Thank you to our vendors! You provided what we needed to keep us running all the time, sometimes with rush and special orders! We appreciate all these partnerships!

Thank you to our family and friends! Without their continuous love and support, this journey could have been a rocky one!

The Carey’s last day as the owners/caretakers of the Lakeland Store will be July 30, 2024. The store will be closed Monday, July 29th and Tuesday, July 30th in preparation for the new owners taking over! Also, the store will be closed on Wednesday, July 31st while the new owners prepare for their opening on August 1st .

On July 31, 2024, Joe and Tina Walls and their family will take over as the owners/caretakers of the Lakeland Store! We have been collaborating with them on this sale for almost a year and we genuinely believe they are the right people to take over! Their commitment to community and customer service is top notch! Please continue the patronage and support with the Walls family as you have with our family!

We will not be leaving the Lakeland area; just moving on with new adventures!
