Once Upon A Time...
With the love of smoking a perfect cigar... comes great responsibility and curiosity to pick the right cigar. I learned this at a young age while watching my father smoke a stogie on a balmy summer night. He would throw the grill on, and pour a cocktail. I can still hear the swipe of the match on the strip as it ignited a sense of wonder. It was then that I knew, one day we would embark on an adventure to be “cigar-ologist’s” if you will. We explored the world of Ci**rs. The process, the aroma, the size and so much more. We also knew that so many “shoptiques” didn’t offer other “giftables” to the gentleman. We carry a variety of Men’s Shaving & Grooming items, as well as items for the bearded fella. When you walk in, it’s about the experience. We curate the best selection of ci**rs for every palate. We specialize in hand picking an unusual selection to tease the taste buds of the new cigar smoker as well as the seasoned cigar smoker. Our name Nine Generals Cigar Company, is pretty fitting eh? We live, work and play in the Galena area which is home to General & President Ulysses S. Grant. Our 18th President and Lincoln’s General. So our little thriving metropolis of 3,600 people is rich with history. We see it a fitting tribute, that our cigar shop is named after The Nine Generals of The Civil War.
