Treat your dog to some of our Pea'MUTT Butter Dog Cookies. Crunchy treats are coated in a thin layer of our homemade peanut butter fudge. These treats DO NOT contain chocolate!

We will be opening for the 2022 season on Friday, April 1st at 10:00 am. We will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 till 5. Come see us for that Fudge you have been craving all winter!

We made it! That was a close one. Tropical Storm Hermine packed more punch than some hurricanes we've experienced. Check out this video taken from the front deck of the store at the peak of the storm. Everything has been cleaned up and open now to serve you.

Named for the North Carolina State Seashell, The Scotch Bonnet is located in Frisco in the heart of Hatteras Island on the beautiful, windswept Outer Banks of North Carolina We have been a Hatteras Island landmark for over 60 years welcoming generations of families.

The Scotch Bonnet is most famous for its rich, creamy and delicious fudge that is made right on the premises with real cream and butter! Our Fudge is so heavenly it was even featured on the Food Network! We also offer over 21 flavors of saltwater taffy, Jelly Belly jelly beans, seashells, t-shirts and unique gifts.

So if your sweet tooth needs satisfying and you find yourself on the Outer Banks, a stop at the Scotch Bonnet is an absolute must! But we know that not everyone is lucky enough to visit the beaches of this island jewel of North Carolina so for those who can't be here in person we ship throughout the continental United States.
